1. Jessica Lee, also known as Lee Seul (이슬), is a former member of the K-pop idol girl group "Highteen" and almost a member of the P-pop idol girl group "BINI". She is a singer, model, and Korean YouTuber who grew up, studied, and currently living in the Philippines.
2. Jessica Lee is from Ottawa, Canada. Opportunity didn’t come knocking for Jessica Lee, it blew the door in. “Basically, two years ago, I was at school at Ottawa U and they were having this YouTube contest to sing with Marianas Trench at Massey Hall in Toronto,” she explains. Because her roommate dared her to, Lee entered herself, “kind of as a joke.” And then she forgot about it. And then she won.
The 21 year-old Ottawa, Canada native wasn’t an absolute novice when Josh Ramsay winnowed down all those contest entries and invited Jessica Lee to duet “Good to You” on arguably the most venerable stage in Canada. Cruising on the same ready confidence she brought to Massey Hall, Lee accepted the offer and set about writing and recording a debut album with a small team of collaborators.
Ramsay and Simkin eagerly demonstrated the extent of their confidence by encouraging Lee to follow her own muse, while introducing her to people who would help see the project through; Fake Shark’s Kevvy Maher, Tino Zolfo and Marten Tromm—both fresh off their work with Adaline—plus Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Tug of War” co-writer Ryan Stewart, and Ramsay himself.
Wrecking Ball

Here you knock
And I know it's time to go
So then why can't I just open the door
Same old time
Same old place
Will you see it on my face
I'm afraid it's not the same anymore
One last time
I wish that I could only change my mind
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
I don't wanna be the one to hurt you
Wish I could be the one to fall
But I'm breaking you
Breaking you down
I don't wanna be the dynamite
Blowin' up everything inside
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
But it all comes down tonight
It all comes down tonight
Eight o' clock
And there's not
Any easy way to say it
I don't know why I suffer a blow
See your smile
Want to laugh
But we can't go back
It's so hard to love than
Let you go
One more night
One last time
I wish that I could only change my mind
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
I don't wanna be the one to hurt you
Wish I could be the one to fall
But I'm breaking you
Breaking you down
I don't wanna be the dynamite
Blowin' upeverything inside
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
But it all comes down tonight
It all comes down tonight
And these lies
Are tearing me down slowly
And don't lie
They can see right through me
And I know
That you know
What I need to say
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
I don't wanna be the one to hurt you
Wish I could be the one to fall
But I'm breaking you
Breaking you down
I don't wanna be the dynamite
Blowin' up everything inside
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
But it all comes down tonight
All comes down tonight
I don't wanna be the dynamite
Blowin' up everything inside
I don't wanna be a wrecking ball
But it all comes down tonight
The lyrics of Jessica Lee's song "Wrecking Ball" speaks about a person who is torn between leaving a relationship but is afraid of hurting their partner. In the first verse, the person hears their partner knocking on the door, and they know it's time to go. However, they are afraid of what's going to happen once they leave. The lyrics go on to describe their conflicting feelings, wanting to change their mind but knowing that they have to leave. The chorus repeats the line "I don't wanna be a wrecking ball" several times, which is a metaphor for avoiding causing harm or destruction to the relationship, even though they know that their leaving will ultimately lead to its end.
The second verse continues to describe how difficult it is to leave and let go of someone they still care about. The lyrics mention that they see their partner's smile and want to laugh again, but they know that they can't go back. The bridge of the song is where the person admits that their lies are tearing them down slowly and that others can see right through them. It's as if they're trying to convince themselves that leaving is the right choice even though they're afraid of hurting the person they are leaving behind.
