With its crisp guitars and start-stop tempos, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" became a radio favorite worldwide, and Get Born sold over three million copies as a result. Jet also received seven ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) nominations, six of which were awarded to the band. European dates with Oasis followed in summer 2005, and the sophomore effort Shine On arrived in fall 2006. The band maintained a steady touring pace and contributed a song to the Spider-Man 3 soundtrack. Following a short break, Jet reconvened in 2008 to begin work on a third album, which arrived one year later as Shaka Rock. They toured as support for Green Day and Powderfinger, but went on hiatus in 2010 and were fully disbanded in 2012. Jet were back in business after several years, however, playing headlining shows in Australia during early 2017.Jet is an alternative rock band which formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Australia. The band consists of Nic Cester (vocals, guitar), Cameron Muncey (guitar, vocals), Mark Wilson (bass) and Chris Cester (drums). 2. Jet were a glam rock band from London. They released one eponymous album in 1975 before splitting up. The band formed in 1974 with a line-up of Andy Ellison (vocals, ex-John's Children, solo artist), Martin Gordon (bass, ex-Sparks), Chris Townson (drums, formerly in John's Children and Jook), David O'List (lead guitar, ex-member of The Nice and an early member of Roxy Music) and Peter Oxendale (keyboards for a short-lived live version of Sparks). The bulk of the band went on to become the punk/new wave band Radio Stars.

Before Black 'N Blue, Jaime St. James began his professional music career while a student at Cleveland High School, where he and classmates Dan Kurth, Barry Pendergrass, and Ray Malsom formed the Molly Hatchet-inspired combo Jet. It's a shame that the true cost of the F-35 extends all the way now into the complete loss of overwhelming dominance, from just a few short years ago. With the MUCH longer-raged J-20, and no F-22 in production, the tech that tax payers have paid hundreds of billions to develop now struggles to stay current in a jet still heavily under development, as J-20 production rates soar.
There should be no need for a mad-rush to get to 6th-gen, yet that's what it seems we are faced with - And with quoted costs of several hundred mill a piece, and intended production runs of 200 aircraft, it also looks like the value of quantity in the quality vs. quantity conundrum is heading to near-0. Seems like nothing has been truly learned from the F-35, there's way too much fascination with its wiz-bangs for the powers-that-be to acknowledge that the cost of this program is not an $80M aircraft... It is much, much higher.
4th-gen fighters' service lives have had to be extended to make up for the time spent with a ridiculous all-eggs-in-one-basket approach - As has been said many times before, the F-35 is a great Strike aircraft, with some amazing tech/capabilities - But that tech has come at an incredible price, in both $$$ and time... And production rates now are stalling out as the realization sets in that 20+ years into dev, MAJOR upgrades/tech need to be accomplished just to get to the baseline capabilities that should be non-starters.
If the F-35 delivers EVERY capability promised and the J-20 lags behind in sensor tech and avionics as the F-35 Club insists, then there should be no rush to get to 6th-gen. But based on at least its stealthy outline, long range, good payload, good maneuverability, and now engines to challenge F119 engine performance, BOTH of those conditions would need to be met in order for F-35 to cope with the threat of J-20.
Here's to hoping the F-35 fan club is right, because if they're wrong on any of it, the J-20 WOULD be a problem.

@KOPITE 89You've got that right. the battle of britain was also won on several factors. good British secret service. aircraft crashing, the pilots who survived could be picked up from the English and returned to work. and a very good plane and more experienced pilots over longer periods of time. the Germans had a very poor intelligent network, they received a lot of misinformation and pilots lost them when they crashed in England and the surrounding area. . I also think that the BF 109 Messersmith was a less aircraft than the Spitfire more competitive with the Hawker Huracine. and the choice to move from military targets to civilian targets is what ultimately cost the Germans too much manpower.

The J-20 Stealth Fighter Jet of China is a clear long range fighter Jet of China due to its large frame and larger fuel tank with one of the World's long range missiles if not the longest range missiles the PL-15 much longer range than Europe's Meteor missiles though the Meteor is more advanced. The radars and sensors of J-20 is classified, a secret they maintained until it is used in combat. Will the China- India conflict uncover the capability of J-20 Stealth fighter jet if it's used in that battle arena.

@Biochem Wang That is because the J-20's had their radar reflectors on. They would only take them off during combat, so of course they could be easily detected.
