Nothing
Jill Scott Lyrics

It's beyond me
I can't control it or force it to be, you know, what I want it to be
I think about you so much when I'm with you and when I'm not
It's deep, the way, just looking in your eyes just changes my whole perspective
Nothing is more beautiful than loving you, holding you being next to you
Kissing your lips taking my time with you
Nothing is more beautiful than loving you Holding you being next to you Moving my hips
Put of all the things in the world, god gave us to each other
It's amazing
You are the king I always imagined
This is the best time of my life.
In Jill Scott's song, "Nothing," she expresses her deep love and affection for someone, despite feeling weak at times for how much she loves them. She admits that her feelings for this person are beyond her control, and she cannot force them to be what she wants them to be. She is constantly thinking about this person when she's both with them and when she's not, and just looking into their eyes can change her whole perspective on things. To her, nothing is more beautiful than being with this person, holding them, and loving them. She values every little detail about their time together, the kisses, being next to them, and moving together in sync. She acknowledges that out of all the things in the world, God gave them to each other, and that it's amazing to be with someone who feels like the king she always imagined.
