no way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
no way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you
and even if the sun refused to shine
even if romance ran out of rhyme
until the end of time
you're all I need, my love, my valentine
All of my life
I have been waiting for
all you give to me
you've opened my eyes
and showed me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
but in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
untill the end of time
you're all I need, my love, my valentine
and even if the sun refused to shine
even if romance ran out of rhyme
you would still have my heart
until the end of time
cause all I need is you my valentine
oh
you're all I need, my love, my valentine
In Jim Brickman's song, "Valentine," the lyrics express a heartfelt sentiment of unconditional love and commitment. The opening lines, "If there were no words, no way to speak, I would still hear you," suggest an unspoken communication between two people who share a deep connection. The lyrics continue to convey a message of everlasting love and devotion, even in the face of adversity or uncertain times.
The second verse speaks to the transformative power of love, with the lyrics, "You've opened my eyes and showed me how to love unselfishly." The singer has been waiting all their life for someone who can give them this kind of love, and they pledge to give their heart to their beloved, "until the end of time." The refrain repeats the sentiment, "you're all I need, my love, my valentine," emphasizing the central theme of the song - that love is the most important thing in life.
Overall, "Valentine" is a tender love song that celebrates the beauty and power of love, and the deep connection that can exists between two people who truly care for each other.
