@RoseRadioactive I remember those early 60's dances like they were yesterday, just lived for my summer trips to The Lake so I could go dance my ass off at his shows in the American Legion Hall. That hall is still there, and every time I drive past it the memories come flooding back.

Is this the Jim Burgett who played to packed houses at the American Legion Hall in South Lake Tahoe, Ca., during summers in the early and mid 60's?? Man, those dances were the bomb!

Yes Cal this is the same Jim Burgett that held the AMERICAN LEGION DANCES in SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA in the 60s. Just to let you know that Jim is alive and well and living in Las Vegas, NV. I played drums for Jim at the AMERICAN LEGION HALL from 1964 to 1969 and then some. CHEERS MATE. FRED GALLANT-- Sept. 24-2018.
