Verraros released his first internationally-released album Rollercoaster in 2005, which garnered a couple dance floor hits, including the Top 25 Billboard Dance Chart hit "You Turn It On." The album was produced and co-written by Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Gabe Lopez and features four songs co-written by American Idol semi-finalist Angela Peel. On May 27, 2009, Verraros released two new singles "Touch (Don't U Want 2)" and "Electric Love" from his forthcoming album Do Not Disturb (release date TBA). Both songs were produced and written by Gabe Lopez.
As an actor, Verarros is a star of the 2004 gay-themed comedy Eating Out directed by Q. Allan Brocka and produced by Ariztical Entertainment, as well as its 2006 sequel, Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds. Verraros was considered for a role on the Here! series Dante's Cove. Verraros has appeared four times on The Feast of Fools podcast - once in November and December 2006 and twice in January 2007.
The first openly gay contestant ever to be on the competition, Verraros quickly became a celebrity in the American gay press because of a controversy that erupted when Fox Broadcasting Company made him remove gay-friendly comments from his network-sponsored American Idol web site in the summer of 2002. While Verraros was out to fellow contestants and Idol employees, he did not mention his homosexuality on air. Following the end of the show and the subsequent tour, Verraros came out publicly in an article in The Advocate. On September 6, 2009, Verraros married his boyfriend Bill Brennan in a small ceremony in Illinois.

Touch me, tease me, love it when you taunt me
Don't try to hide; you know you want to flaunt me
Ollie ollie oxen free, you caught me
Push me, pull me, how do you want me?
Touch me, tease me, love it when you taunt me
Don't try to hide; you know you want to flaunt me
Move, just a little bit closer
Move, can you feel my body?
Move, 'cause my temperature's rising
Move, come on baby make your move
Move, just a little bit closer
Move, can you feel my body?
Move, 'cause my temperature's rising
Move, come on baby make your move
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
Flip me, toss me, know you wanna boss me
If I give into you, what's it gonna cost me?
If you wanna climb, baby jump on the fence
Make a dollar out of my fifteen scents
One for the money, two for the sex
Three and a half hours later, what's next?
(in the kitchen, up against the door)
(in the bathtub or on the floor)
Move, just a little bit closer
Move, can you feel my body?
Move, 'cause my temperature's rising
Move, come on baby make your move
Move, just a little bit closer
Move, can you feel my body?
Move, 'cause my temperature's rising
Move, come on baby make your move
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
Whatever you want me to be, here i am, here i am
So many ways to be free, to be free
And i don't give a damn
Move, just a little bit closer
Move, can you feel my body?
Move, 'cause my temperature's rising
Move, come on baby make your move
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
No question, you want it, come and get it while it's waiting for ya
Don't tell nobody 'bout this freaky thing I'm gonna show ya
The lyrics to Jim Verraros's song "Move" describe the desire and the physical attraction between two people. The first verse describes the teasing behavior of one person towards the other, and the chorus expresses the urge to get closer physically. The second verse talks about the secretive nature of the encounter and the willingness of the other person to be dominated. There is also a mention of climbing on the fence, which is possibly an allusion to the idea of taking risks and breaking societal norms.
The song's theme of desire is further emphasized by the repetition of the line "Move, just a little bit closer" in the chorus, which is a clear invitation to physical closeness. The use of the phrase "temperature rising" also gives a sense of the intensity of the attraction. The last section of the lyrics suggests that the person is willing to be whatever the other wants, implying a willingness to be physically submissive to the other's desires.
Overall, the song's lyrics are straightforward and focus on the physical attraction between two individuals. The repetition of certain phrases adds to the seductive and hypnotic nature of the song's message.
