It's been pretty quiet here for a while.
What a track to welcome you back, Anthony, and what a track this is!
A true 'Cineramic',' grand production.
I'm a sucker for big, sweeping arrangement work (done correctly), as it is here.
Mr. Botkin's arrangement here is stunning, and Mr. Borges rides it beautifully.
I love his phrasing on those parts where he warbles - he extends 'two' (I think) for a couple of bars (at least) 1.51.
Mr. Botkin has the orchestra come in judiciously - just emphasising the opening & building up at the end.
Mr. Borges - if you're reading this, thank you, from me, as well as I'm sure many others who're listening to this wonderful present from you.
