I was born a believer, biggest dreamer this world has ever seen
From the start of my life, I had high hopes and believed in myself more than anyone else.

Ready to face most anything but learn that I was naive
Despite being optimistic, I realized I was inexperienced and had to learn from life's challenges.

Ran into things in life that I never planned
I faced unexpected obstacles and situations that I could not prepare for or anticipate.

But that's made me who I am
Overcoming these challenges helped shape me into the strong person I am today.

I've had highs and lows and seen my share of ups and downs
I've experienced both good and bad times in my life.

There's been nights it seemed there wasn't a friend to be found
During difficult times, it felt like I had no one to turn to for support.

I've had to save myself from drowning in a sea of tears
I had to come to my own emotional rescue and find strength within myself to overcome tough times.

But I'm still here
Despite all the hardships, I am still standing and moving forward with my life.

I, I'm a survivor
I am a strong and resilient individual who can overcome any obstacle.

I won't let it get the best of me, I'll try my very best to be that strong
I won't let challenges or difficult situations defeat me. I will always try my best to remain strong.

And I'll never give up, never let out, never give in
I am determined to persevere and never lose hope or give up, no matter how hard things get.

I'll just keep moving on
I won't stop or give up but will continue to move forward and progress in my life.

I was taught that honesty was simply the only way
I value the importance of being honest in all aspects of my life.

I've spoken honestly and had it blow up in my face
Despite the value I place on honesty, there have been times when telling the truth had negative consequences.

Sometimes I look around and I don't know what I see
There are moments when life feels uncertain or unclear, and it can be difficult to see a way forward.

But I gotta believe in God above and what he's made me
In moments of uncertainty, I turn to my faith in a higher power and trust in the value and worth of my own life.

I've witnessed pride and ego destroy the kindest of hearts
I have seen firsthand how arrogance and self-importance can be harmful and destructive, even to those with good intentions.

Seen how gread can take the best of friends and tear them apart
The pursuit of wealth or status has caused even close relationships to dissolve and fall apart.

Every corner, every turn, every lesson I have learned
Through every experience and hardship, I have gained valuable knowledge and insights.

Has helped me find my way
These lessons have aided in my personal growth and understanding of myself and my place in the world.

I'll never give up, never let out, never givin
I will always maintain my strength and resilience, even in the face of adversity or negativity.
