Growing up in Little Rock, Arkansas the two ran with similar circles, going to the same church and attending the same college before their paths crossed and they hit it off. Thomas was formerly in the band Canopy Climbers and Rutherford in Brothers + Company before they met. After Rutherford graduated college he decided to pursue music as a career, Thomas was already on that path and they began to pursue a music licensing project. The first time they wrote together they penned “Take Me On” and decided to shift their focus. Over the next few weeks, they began to write and record songs and came up with a song called “With Somebody Else” that they released softly through some music blogs. They then released their debut single “Take Me On” through the label 20XX in 2017. Joan followed up this release with several other one-off singles, before releasing the EP portra on, July 11, 2018. The band is set to tour in the fall of 2018.

Im listening just now :-) It came to my mind yesterday... I was playing with the words a little to be honest, since it says "would you want to see, if seeing meant that you would have to believe"... Well If you saw, you would know. So knowing means you can not believe anymore, because you know. Some time back I heard in a video, imagine that this truly happens, that you meet God and can ask just one question. The author said pause if you need, and really really think what would you ask, take your time... The more I thought about it, about the question, I came to a conclusion that there really is no one question to ask. And the author made the same point :-)

And they wanted nothing to do with helping the crusaders bc europeens saw then as heretics and during bysantium rules did the same as Rome to the early christians.That facilitated the conquest bc their tolerance\indifference to difference of faith of christianity( and not just in Egypt) help their acceptance by larger populations of non muslin.The worms were already inthe apples! Probably nobody's going to read this but I have to say it... Three day before my dad passed away, we were on the car, he was taking me to church when this song came along on the radio. He started singing it. He smiled at me and told me everything was going to be okay. I miss him so much. Only God knows when it's our time to leave.

Hearing this song for the first time, on the radio, was like a religious experience for me. I had just landed in Medford, Oregon, and was driving my rental car from the airport towards my hotel. I channel-surfed the radio for a few minutes until I found a likable radio station... within a few minutes, this song came on. I was choked up, tears in my eyes.... this song resonated in my spirit like an epiphany.... I forgot about going to the hotel and drove instead to the nearest record store I could find, and bought Joan's album on cassette. I still listen to the song regularly, 30 years later, and it still gives me goosebumps.

I used to listened this before going to school while my Papa braided my hair. I was at 4 or 5 grade of elementary school that time.
Now, it's been 2 months my Papa had gone since he lost the battle through Covid on Friday, July 9th, 2021.
This song brings so much memories of my childhood and it becomes one of souvenirs that I can treasure to linger my bond with my Papa.

Pois peça perdão a Deus porque essa música é uma crítica a Sua criação. Quando ela diz que Deus é bom, é ótimo é um deboche. O que ela disse é que Deus não é perfeito, pois criou um monte de desajustados. Esse padre não deve saber Inglês por isso permitiu isso. Não se deixe levar pela melodia, pela voz bonita e porque fala o nome de Deus. O compositor da letra é ateu e debocha da fé em Jesus.

It brings tears to my eyes and beautiful memories, it's like watching her singing and enjoying this song that she liked.. In March 2021 She suffered 3 heart attacks... May my Queen rest in peace, and may God keep her in a beautiful place. . 😢🙏 I love you and miss you mom. This song is part of my golden memories. ❤
