Crimson and Clover
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Lyrics

Ah, now I don't hardly know her
But I think I can love her
Crimson and clover

Ah, now when she comes walkin' over
Now I've been waitin' to show her
Crimson and clover, over and over

Yeah, I'm not such a sweet thing
I wanna do everything
What a beautiful feelin'
Crimson and clover, over and over

Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over

Joan Jett And The Blackhearts Version Of This Song, Went To Number 7 On The Billboard Hot-100 Chart In 1982.

Wow. I would sure love to be number 7 And she's definitely number One out of a Million × a million 🤔 yep The One

ya boi mccoy

the best park of this is that she didn't change the lyrics to make it that she's talking about a man

@Mary Wealth Ok, that's not bad.

"Ah, now I know I just glimpsed him
But I wish I could kiss him
Clover and crimson
Ah, he's such a fox on that Gibson
Could be the tod to my vixen
Clover and crimson
That's where he fits in"

Pat Conolly

It sounds great the way she does it. Actually, when I hear it, I always think of the "her" as Joan herself, and that she's expressing someone else's feelings about her.

Pat Conolly

@Mary Wealth "I think I could love him, Clover and Crimson." ? I don't think that sounds too good. And how would you change "she comes walking over". What synonym of "over" would rhyme with "Crimson"?

I agree!
