She is also the violinist for popular post-rock band Black Country, New Road. Skye developed his own solo project and remixed the album from Arizona’s Injury Reserve (who Jockstrap toured with in the U.K.) in its entirety. Ellery has also collaborated with Underworld on their ongoing experimental project, DRIFT. Both Ellery and Skye wrote and performed on Dean Blunt's 2018 Soul On Fire mixtape (also featuring A$AP Rocky & Mica Levi) Jockstrap were also asked to collaborate and perform at Africa Express’ sold-out one-off show in a circus tent in Walthamstow.

Charlotte
Jockstrap Lyrics

And kiss and pivot in the loft
And of course get to know you
Eyes make her heart, make her
A quiet hue of gold and fun
And he likes the sea and the sun
Like me
Your thighs and hair
Flakes from your heel
Why, not even I
We, surely
Nude where we knelt
But I was pride and
I couldn't leave it alone, come
And I′ll pretend in the end
And you are just a friend
You don't let go
Coarse hair, brown eyes
It's no surprise how holding like this turns the time
I′m alone
I wanna have you again
This time sober
In bed with wine when
Shot into the red eye of the morning
We fall asleep yawning
Snoring
The song "Charlotte" by Jockstrap talks about a passionate desire to intimately know someone. The first two lines of the chorus describe the feeling of wanting to undress and kiss Charlotte in a loft. The singer yearns to discover everything there is to know about Charlotte, and her eyes make her heart flutter. The verse continues with the singer describing the color of Charlotte's eyes as a "quiet hue of gold and fun" and how she and the singer both enjoy the sea and the sun. The next line illustrates the physical attraction and desire when the singer mentions kissing Charlotte's thighs and playing with her hair.
The second verse contains slightly more graphic language, but the desire is just as intense. This time the singer talks about being naked together and not being able to resist Charlotte. However, the singer acknowledges their pride and decides to just pretend that they are only friends. The bridge of the song changes the tone slightly, as the singer talks about how they cannot let go of Charlotte and how holding her close feels like it stops time. The song ends with the singer wanting to be with Charlotte again, this time sober and in bed with wine, before they both fall asleep.

Jockstrap is so talented it makes me want to cry. I just hope one day I can make something that is but a fraction of the beauty that their art is.

One of those rare occasions for a video where the visuals perfectly complement the music
@adrianasolari492
the visuals of the video, to the strangeness of this music with Georgia’s haunting vocals all together makes for a really great jam to be pensive and enjoy closing your eyes to (meaning I like it, even if it isn’t that that incredible—keep it up Jockstrap, i really like this album!!)
