Yes! Jody should definitely get more credit. It's not like she hasn't made ANY impact. She is a Grammy nominee AND winner and she had some very Iconic videos such as "Real Love","Friends" and others. To me she was a trailblazer. I still follow her music! I'm a true fan and I don't believe in discarding an artist just because they aren't "in the game" anymore or so to speak. I like to remeber them for the body of work they've created-especially the ones whose influence is so obvious.

The artist today may review some previous videos or materials from artists such as Tina Turner/Jody Watley/ Janet Jackson/ & Vanessa Williams an restructure/revamp the previous styles, then incorporate their own flares/personalities into what MAY have been a thought. @DS9Sisko Watley has always stated this is the only video she used dancers or choreography and has acknowledged it was inspired by her childhood love of musicals Fred Astaire, Fosse, Gene Kelly and the like. The slow motion/real time scene she said back in the 90's came from her favorite scene in "The Easter Parade" w Fred Astaire/Judy Garland. She also said, since it was hard for her to not be freestyle she broke from choreography too. Who are Freemasons?
