From Here To Eternity
Joe Lyrics
I don't want to sing like the Beatles again, but I'm going to do it anyway
It's way too sunny and I think you'd like to sing with me too -
Whad'ya say?
Ya say it's about time, we've been waiting for you
And it's not half as bad as you think
Here's a drink stay a while,
such a treat when you smile
It only gets better from here
Something 'bout the clouds makes a difference today
Could be the fact that they're not around
I'm thinking clearly and it's just enough to make me care and keep my feet on the ground
You say it's about time, we've been waiting for you
And it's not near as close to the brink as you think
Here's a drink stay a while,
such a treat when you smile
It only gets better from here
I am - alive again
And breathing a sigh of regret
Forgetting to feel
Asleep at the wheel
Let it go and never forget
Oh yeah
I don't want to sing like the Beatles again, but I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
It's way too sunny and I think you'd like to sing with me too -
Whad'ya say?
Ya say it's about time, we've been waiting for you
And it's not half as bad as you think
Here's a drink stay a while,
such a treat when you smile
It only gets better from here
Something 'bout the clouds makes a difference today
Could be the fact that they're not around
You say it's about time, we've been waiting for you
And it's not near as close to the brink as you think
Here's a drink stay a while,
such a treat when you smile
It only gets better from here
I am - alive again
And breathing a sigh of regret
Forgetting to feel
Asleep at the wheel
Let it go and never forget
Oh yeah
I don't want to sing like the Beatles again, but I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
I'm gonna do it anyway
