DeRosa, Ruda, and Seefried were previously in a group known as Gods Child; and had released a handful of LPs under that moniker. In 1995, Gods Child had a national hit single, "Everybody's #1", which topped the Billboard Magazine "Modern Rock" and "Album Rock" categories simultaneously.
Seefried and Hamilton would go on to pen "Sleeping Pill" a song which was featured on a CD Sampler released by Album Network, a trade magazine. The song was credited to a band known as "The Amazing Adventures of Joe 90" — a pseudonym for the duo. The name was a send-up to the 1968 animated television series entitled Joe 90. However, their audience was not in on the joke, and repeatedly inquired about Joe 90. They eventually took on the name to avoid any further elaboration.
Make up Your Mind
Joe 90 Lyrics

Life is not what it seems
Always easier to quit
Never feeling like you're it
Make up your Mind
Make up your Mind
Leave it behind
It's easy feeling down
She never wanted you around
Falling into one more ditch
I'm always needing one stitch
Make up your Mind
Make up your Mind
Leave it behind
Leave it behind
Make up your Mind
It's time
You can leave it behind
But it's all that you have
Feeling lost and sad
All you is tomorrow
But you're lost in yesterday
Alwasy two steps behind
Lose what you never find
Lies say you never had
Walk away when you're feeling scared
Make up your Mind
Make up your Mind
Leave it behind
Leave it behind
Make up your Mind
It's Time
You can leave it behind
The song "Make Up Your Mind" by Joe 90 is a motivational ballad that talks about struggles in life and encourages listeners to make decisions in order to move forward. The final stanza talks about the dilemma of being stuck in the past but only having tomorrow to look forward to. It urges the listener to leave the past behind them and take control of their future. The lyrics are simple and straightforward, but convey a deep and inspiring message of taking control of one's life and making decisions to move forward.

Anyone else think that this had one of the best and most memorable theme tunes ever made?
@mauricerevelle8451
Yep..The theme tune is one of the best ever
@mtlreiner
Awesome theme … https://youtu.be/fN9MlhHp9ss
@TanjoGalbi
I recently watched a video about how theme tunes are made and it's very interesting to find out that the main parts of theme tunes are a musical way of saying the show title. Now you know that, listen to Joe 90 again and you will hear "Joe 90" throughout the tune. 😉
@mtlreiner
Same with Derek Wadsworth’s Space:1999 theme. Also, the X-Files … “The X-Files is a show, with music by Mark Snow.”

That scene from "Hi-Jacked" where Joe throws the grenade at Coletti was just BRILLIANT!

Loved watching Joe 90 when it first aired back in 1968/9. Wonderful times. I remember the sheer level of excitement when my mum collected the special Sutherlands Spread labels and my 'Joe 90 Dossier' arrived in the post!
