Bonamassa was born in Utica, New York. He started playing guitar at age four, encouraged by his father, who was an avid music fan and exposed him to British blues rock records by Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, greatly inspiring him. At 11 years old Joe was mentored and trained by American guitar legend, Danny Gatton. When he was 12 years old, he had his own band called Smokin' Joe Bonamassa, which gigged around western New York and Pennsylvania, including cities such as Scranton and Buffalo, but only on weekends since Joe had school on weekdays. Bonamassa played a crimson 1972 Fender Stratocaster he called "Rosie", which his father had bought in Utica, New York.
When he was 12 years old, Bonamassa opened for B.B. King. In the last 13 years Bonamassa has put out 15 solo albums through his independent record label J&R Adventures, of which 11 have reached number 1 on the Billboard Blues charts. Bonamassa has played alongside such artists as Stephen Stills, Eric Clapton, Blondie Chaplin, Foreigner, Buddy Guy, Steve Winwood, Warren Haynes, Solomon Hicks, and Derek Trucks among others.[4] His career highlights include performances at the Royal Albert Hall and has had three Grammy Award nominations in 2013, for his collaboration album with Beth Hart "Seesaw", in 2016 for the album "Live at the Greek Theatre" and 2022 for the album "Royal Tea". In addition to his music career, Joe Bonamassa runs a nonprofit organisation called the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, whose mission is to further music education by funding scholarships and providing music education resources to schools in need. in 2020, he added an extension to the foundation. Called Fuelling Musicians, it provides $1500 cheques to struggling musicians affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
in 2021, he broke his own record for having more #1 Billboard blues albums than anyone in history. The album "Time Clocks" clocked up his 25th #1 album.

I believe the evil things she had to say
I've been lost by the road side
Waiting on the break of day
I've been 'round and 'round
Shed my fair share of tears
I've been 'round and 'round
Now I'm doing all I can
To find my way out of here
Ya got me running, you got me running
To where I just don't know
You got me running, you got me running
To where I just don't know
Far from trouble town to where I gotta go
And I, don't I always tell the truth
And I, don't I always tell the truth
'Cause one look of that woman
Tell me what I have to do
Ya got me running, got me running
To where I just don't know
You got me running, got me running
To where I just don't know
Far from trouble town 'cause is where I gotta go
Ya got me running, you got me running
To where I just don't know
You got me running, got me running
To where I just don't know
Far from trouble town where I gotta go
(Far from the trouble town)
Far from trouble town is where I gotta go
You got me running, babe
The lyrics of "Trouble Town" by Joe Bonamassa describe the struggles of the singer who believes he has encountered the devil and has been persuaded by her evil words. He feels lost on the roadside, waiting for the breaking of a new day. The singer has been through a lot of sorrow, and he has wasted his tender years. However, he is now doing all he can to find a way out of his current situation. He is uncertain of where he is heading, but he knows he needs to leave the trouble town and go far away.
The lyrics convey the sense of confusion, desperation, and uncertainty of the singer's life, but it also shows a glimmer of hope. He is aware of his mistakes and is working towards a way out. The woman referenced in the song symbolizes temptation of the singer, whether it is towards a person or things that may cause misery, as the devil is interpreted as malicious and sinister.
The repetitive chorus emphasizes how lost the singer is, running to a place that he does not know, but he needs to go somewhere far from trouble town to find solace.
Overall, the lyrics of "Trouble Town" portray a message of self-awareness, reformation, and the need to move away and towards hope and redemption.

You guys should do "monitor mixes", letting the viewer listen to what each performer hears during each show. It would be an interesting add to the channel!
