Feelin' Alright
Joe Cocker Lyrics
Seems I got to have a change of scene
Every night I have the strangest dreams
Imprisoned by the way it could have been
Left here on my own or so it seems
I got to leave before I start to scream
'Cause someone locked the door and took the key
You feelin' alright?
I'm not feelin' too good myself
Yes, you feelin' alright?
Boy you sure took me for one big ride
And even now I sit and I wonder why
That when I think of you I start myself to cry out
I just can't waste my time, I must keep dry
Gotta stop believin' in all your lies
'Cause there's too much to do before I die, hey
You feelin' alright?
I'm not feelin' too good myself
You feelin' alright?
I'm not feelin' too good, little girl
Don't get too lost in all I say
Yeah by the time I really felt that way
But that was then, and now you know it's today
I can't get off, I guess I'm here to stay
'Til someone comes along and takes my place, yeah
With a different name, oh, and a different face
You feelin' alright?
I'm not feelin' that good myself
You feelin' alright?
Hey, not feeling that good myself
Woah, not feelin' alright
Yeah, not feelin' that good myself
Oh, woah, I'm not, well I'm not feelin' good myself
You can turn away, feelin' alright I'm not feeling too good myself

Lyrics
Seems I've got to have
A change of scene
Every night,
I have the strangest dreams
Imprisoned by the way
It could have been
Left here on my own
Or so it seems
I've got to leave before
I start to scream
But someone locked the door
And took the key
You feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good myself
Yes, you feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good myself
Well boy,
You sure took me for one big ride
And even now I sit
And I wonder why
That when I think of you
I start myself to cry
I just can't waste my time,
I must keep dry
Gotta stop believing in all your lies
Cause there's too much
To do before I die
Hey,
You feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good myself
Oh no, you feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good,
Little girl
Huh
Feeling alright
Don't get too lost in all I say
Yeah by the time, you know,
I really felt that way
But that was then;
Now, you know, it's today
I just can't get off
So I'm here to stay
Till someone comes along
And takes my place,
Yeah
With a different name,
Oh, and a different face
Hey, you feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good myself
Oh no, you feeling alright?
Hey
I'm not feeling too good,
Little girl
[Outro]
Hey, you feeling alright?
Yeah
I'm not feeling that good myself
Huh
Oh no, you feeling alright?
I'm not feeling too good myself

Lyrics:
Come sto, come sto, ho ucciso 'sta trap
Faccio gang, doppiogang shit come mi fa
La tua gang fa do, re, mi, fa
Non sto più con le mani in mano
Ti prego non dirmi: "Okay"
Come sto, ho ucciso 'sta trap
Faccio gang, doppiogang shit come mi fa
La tua gang fa do, re, mi, fa
Non sto più con le mani in mano
Ti prego non dirmi: "Okay"
No swisher backwoods
Poi a Chini Kellogg's
La mia ex mi perseguita
Tipo eco, eco, ecco
Non sto più con chi ti rivedo
Con chi ti rivive
Con voglia di mandarti all'inferno
Ho il fuoco alle gambe
Devo andare avanti
Lei mi parla con le sue cosce
Non le importa niente degli altri
Io faccio come mi pare
Mi comporto come i matti
Mi vorresti senza i miei scazzi
Ma a volte sto preso male
Come sto, come sto, ho ucciso 'sta trap
Faccio gang, doppiogang shit, come mi fa
La tua gang fa do, re, mi, fa
Non sto più con le mani in mano
Ti prego non dirmi: "Okay"

Was about 8 yrs old when I first heard this song. I'm 61 now, and still it still gives me goosebumps. It shakes my soul. As kids in 1960s Harlem, n.y.c. we knew the name, and the sound of Joe Cocker.

I remember hearing this song back in 1969. Would hear it on my little radio that I hunkered down by late at night after my parents fell asleep on WNEW and also on WABC out of New York City. I've got few years over you. I'm 70 years old. I love Joe Cocker's rendition.

I saw Joe more than 50 times playing live! I knew him personally about the music business (I worked as a sound and light engineer), he was always friendly and modest, good humor, very disciplined and this nice touch of creative craziness, the same like his fantastic rough voice, really a great loss!
