Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Come on let's twist again
Like you did last summer
Yeah, let's twist again
Like you did last year

Do you remember when
Things were really hummin'
Yeah let's twist agin
Twist the time is here

Well, around and round and up and down
We go again
Come on baby make me know you love me so

Let's twist again
Like you did last summer
Yeah, let's twist again
Like you did last year

Well, around and round and up and down

We go again
Come on baby make me know you love me so

Let's twist again
Like you did last summer
Yeah, let's twist again
Like you did last year

Oh come on and let's twist again
Like you did last year

Great version I also heard a great Dixieland version of 'Steptoe and Son' many years ago on Melbourne television, which was at least as good as this if not better. Haven't heard it since.

Couldn't resist having to get a copy of this on Vinyl, I don't know of any copies on any other media. Had to play it on my Radio Show as well. Awesome tune and arrangement.

@dawnbreaks - It was "Phase Four" - which I THINK was used as the intro music for a radio programme of the time. Since EMI didn't notify which were their A and B sides, you have to look at the recording numbers. Usually the A side is FIRST. But sometimes - as in THIS case - they are NOT consecutive. Phase Four was recorded a little while LATER - thus it MAY have been designated as the A side - but not necessarily! Sometimes they held an A side over until they could record a B side (studio time!)
