I first found this on the Atlantic Rhythm and Blues box set. Terrific stuff.

GREAT TRACK

I love Morris' '40s sides, which Junior Watson introduced me to, featuring some of the most unfettered electric guitar extant, but this is kind of killing me, too. It sits in that nicely smeary place between jazz and honking Joe Houston R&B, and has its own particular slosh. Perhaps in nod to its title subject, it reeks of booze, on top of which parts of it seem willfully amusical. But it sure congers a mood.
