Everybody love 'em
On the regular
Lookin' at popular colored faces
Observing what my brothers faces in all races
Lost in generations before hatred
See with your eyes dilated for the sake of the Gs
Jack cheddar from the make believe
Break the trees on they eighth CD
Rocking the red and black lumberjack faithfully
I'm a Brooklyn nigga, basically I grind with the grimiest
Learn how to eat in the jungle full of hyenas
And vultures, don't worry what a verse will cost ya
From the young scorcher, just remember who taught ya
I'm gonna spark it off unorthodox
Won't sign to no major if no wager
Less than a 3 million offer off the top
I'll be in a box with my coughin' drops
Why settle for a office spot?
Niggas don't always make it off the block
Unless they extort rocks or support the cops
They still snitchin' let me guess, that's your mannequin?
Leave 'em shook while you're standing and quit the shenanigans
Have you panicking, induce damages 'til you're vanishing
Words are told properly, resort top sea examinin'
This is for my real hip hop fans and 'em
I dispose for 'em, leave fake MC's in the post mortem
Cause money ain't a thing if I got it I won't spend
All I got is my Pros, I don't need no friends
Feel like this glory road is coming to an end
The only soul that won't sin
No he won't give in
Yo this world is bone chillin'
Make meals in hell's kitchen with these dishes
Properly delivered drop trees in my swisher
And bring that back to my property wit ya
It ain't easy being this royal
When you got this much going for you
It ain't hard to be disloyal
Comin' straight from the soil with lines that never coil
Start to think pretty off new career with this spoil
The kid is that sick so expect more coffins
I'm the chosen one so you can expect more offerings
I be sonning niggas so expect less orphans
Best rapper alive hear that line used less often
Word to God I'm the best offering
BMX like Hoffman, BMF like Ross man
Young boss, man, got Jimmy Fallon endorsements
From porches, to Porsches, getting portions of fortune
They said next up so I stepped up
Fly like I dressed up
Bitches try to hang like left nuts
Like orangutans in the west of
Of the motherland, but I've got the swank of no other man
Brother man
They can't understand
Pro Era boys pop rubber band
Cause money ain't a thing if I got it I won't spend
All I got is my Pros, I don't need no friends
Feel like this glory road is coming to an end
The only soul that won't sin
No he won't give in
Yo this world is bone chillin'
Make meals in hell's kitchen with these dishes
Properly delivered drop trees in my swisher
And bring that back to my property wit ya
Everybody love 'em
We done came up
I'ma spark it off unorthodox
They don't feel the name, but they say the music dope though
I'ma spark it off unorthodox
On the regular
In Joey Bada$$'s song Unorthodox, he raps about his rise to success and how he maintains his authenticity as an artist while remaining true to himself. He calls out the music industry's rat race, where artists are pressured to conform to a particular image or sound to make it big. Instead, he chooses to embrace his roots and represent his Brooklyn community, which he describes as a "jungle full of hyenas and vultures." He also acknowledges the challenges that come with success, including the temptation to spend money frivolously and to compromise one's values to fit in. Despite this, he remains dedicated to his craft, refusing to sign a record deal unless the offer is at least $3 million.
Through his lyrics, Joey Bada$$ is celebrating the success he has achieved, but he also reminds listeners that true success is measured by staying true to oneself and by supporting those around you. He encourages fans to stay loyal to their roots and to never forget where they come from. He also expresses gratitude to his fans, acknowledging their support and love.

Joey is only 19, but is one of the best MCs alive. Real hope for hip-hop, thank you Brooklyn for raising legends!
@fcmastering
*****Β Maaaaaan, that Is his own honest point of view and opinionated statement towards Joey's music career, you moronic knucklehead. Why In the world, would you leave a negative ass comment comparing an uplifting compliment to the "US debt" that's becoming even more fucked up by the day thanks to the government. Why would you say/do that? And at the "Real hope for Hip Hop" Well, to that I say: Many Hip Hop, legends from Talib Kweli, Slum Village, R.A The Rugged Man, Buckshot, DJ Premier, Jay-Z to Jay Electronica, and MF DOOM, has acknowledged Joey, as an artist to respect. And honestly, Joey, Is someone who adds hope for Hip Hop too! I mean think about It, he made people fall In love with boom bap beats again. He kinda made "The underground" mainstream again (which Is fucking cool) So why be such a party pooper broski? Damn, bruh. Your avatar Isn't anything to thumb up. I'm disappointed :/ That Icon, Is supposed to only be used at awesome events :C
@fcmastering
*****Β Dudey. how would a random Individual know that him expressing his thoughts In his own way (down In the comment section) would get other people butthurt. Look, the fact Is, when I bought my first computer, and Internet DSL box, I didn't sign any contract created by the president or Bill Gates of agreeing to get harassed by unknown people for no fucking reason, just because I said something that other people don't agree with. And keep It mind that this Is not about: Racism Politics News or anything that serious to throw a fit about. You basically wasted yours, and my life on arguing about music. Smh
@SIRHENNY1
*****Β He's better then 98% of today's mainstream crap lets be real now lol. You can't get mad cause niggas is putting him up with the greats. Fucking Big L is a top 5 rapper but barley has any music to back the claim that he should be. Don't be salty on the tube. Β Β
@SIRHENNY1
*****Β But he's nice though you can't help but compare him with the best. But his Skill is nothing compared to Capital STEEZ. if you had listen to him blindly you would thought he was a grown man. On the other hand Joey Bada$$ has raw talent, you give him a beat he'll give you a dope song. Guys like Him, Kendrick, J.Cole, they're the Hip Hop saviors people have been dying for. It don't matter if you KNOWN or not Joey could rap circles around kanye. That's all that matters he can rap, an he happens to be a beast. At the end of the day all mainstream does is put a lil change in your pocket. You ask any hip hop head who Joey bada$$ is they'll know, who your talking about he was a XXL Freshman. He's already big, the masses don't want to listen to a guy like Joey, they want to listen to future, and drake. I can't compare kanye to tupac or biggie or big pun or nas. I can make that argument with Joey or kendrick or j.cole.Β
