Nicholas Fanzo

Probably one of, if not THE, greatest musical quartet ever.

+Nicholas Fanzo No Probably's about it. They were so far ahead of their time because of Trane leading the way. They gave him the greatest vehicle to do what he did. I loved your comment and had to contribute. This is the first tune I do on every one of my gigs in honor of Trane. Thanks for posting Crecent

The Classic Quartet will not be forgotten! My favorite jazz group of all time. The music they made was just extraordinary.

Perry Brown

Years ago, a friend gave me a copy of Crescent for my birthday and said "this will be your favorite John Coltrane album." Man, was he right. There was so much genius in this quartet. Probably the best musical unit in the history of mankind.

One of the favorites songs I've ever listened to. Truly masterpiece, it makes you the happiest and the most forlorn person at the same time.

So true! The deepest joy comes out of struggling with the deepest suffering.

Crescent has some of the most beautiful melodic ballads of all time. Picked up the sax a year and a half ago (after playing drums for 12 years) because of this saint. All praise where praise is due.
