Machete Moonlight Im not dead yet, but rather I would like to think that I will play this at my own funeral. Possibly this song and then Basho's " The Thousand Incarnations of the Rose" as well.

The temple bell stops,

But the sound keeps coming

Out of the flowers.

To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.

Some artists, few, touch something deep. The first time I listened to this I started having spontaneous memories of very early childhood. My father swinging me around when I was two, being taken to the park on a crisp, bright autumn morning, and many others. Wasn't calling them up, they just happened, because of this song. I think it comes from that place, deep and pure, where we are most, just, ourselves.

The secret to life is hidden in this song. I don't mean to be sentimental, but this is without a doubt the most beautiful recording/tune I've ever heard and probably will ever hear. I'm not religious but if God were in a song, it would be in this one. I could die to this and it would be alright
