Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
La, la, la (etc)
Jack's OK, and he's back, OK
[CORPSE KID & CHORUS]
He's all right
[MAYOR & CHORUS]
Scream it out, wheee
[CHORUS]
Jack is back now, everyone sing
In our town of Halloween
[CORPSE KID]
What's this?
[MUMMY]
What's this?
[HARLEQUIN DEMON]
I haven't got a clue
[MR. HYDE]
What's this?
[CLOWN]
What it's completely new
[OFF-SCREEN VOICE]
What's this?
[WEREWOLF]
Must be a Christmas thing
[OFF-SCREEN VOICE]
What's this?
[MAYOR]
It's really very strange
[CHORUS]
This is Halloween
Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!
What's this?
What's this?
[Repeat]
[JACK]
My dearest friend, if you don't mind
I'd like to join you by your side
Where we can gaze into the stars
[JACK & SALLY]
And sit together, now and forever
For it is plain as anyone can see
We're simply meant to be
The lyrics to John Williams' (HP3) song Finale contain several different sections and characters, all reflecting on the return of Jack, a beloved figure in their town of Halloween. The initial chorus, "Jack's OK, and he's back, OK" sets the tone for the celebratory and joyous mood of the rest of the song. The subsequent verses feature a variety of characters expressing their confusion and amazement at Jack's return, with the corpse kid, mayor, mummy, harlequin demon, Mr. Hyde, clown, werewolf, and off-screen voice all weighing in.
The final section of the song features Jack himself, expressing his desire to join Sally, his dearest friend, by her side. The two sing together, reaffirming their love and connection with the line "For it is plain as anyone can see / We're simply meant to be." The song overall is a celebration of Halloween and the beloved figure of Jack, as well as a comment on the power of friendship and love.

Each move in the sequel trilogy has meaning
TFA tells you to unlock your true potential, and see the world through different perspective.
TLJ reminds you to stop living at the past in a negative way, and look to what the future brings.
And TROS tells us that our identity doesn’t always mean bloodline, but how we associate with people.
These three movies aren’t just stories, there lessons

I wish I had done this, looking back; I regret it so much. I left as soon as the credits started rolling out of madness because the film sucked so much - but my goodness, I should have showed respect to Williams at the end of the Saga.
