I was blessed to be born under a blue suede star which shone on me, so I could walk with musical legends that have sold and been on more number one hit records worldwide than any other musical acts in the history of popular music.
I walked them golden stairs, passed through those Graceland gates and partied ’till the early hours – it eas like being on a cloud floating in rock ‘n’ roll heaven. Dreams do come true do never stop believing anything is possible.
My journey wasn’t to the land of make-believe. I was awake, conscious and full of life – a path of highs and lows and there was no getting off this bus.
Let me take you by the hand, so you can too share my diaries of laughter and unbelievable times in the music and entertainment business. Welcome to my world of… Blue Suede Dreams.

Paralysed
Johnny Earle Lyrics

I stood there like I was hypnotised
You sent a feeling to my spine
A feeling warm and smooth and fine
But all I could do was stand there paralyzed
When we kissed, ooh, what a thrill
You took my hand and, ooh baby, what a chill
Squeeze and squeeze with all my might
All I could do was stand there paralyzed
Oh yeah lucky me, I'm singing ev'ry day, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ever since the day you came my way, ooh-ooh-ooh
You made my life for me, just one big happy game
I'm gay ev'ry morning, At night I'm still the same
Oh well, Do you remember that wonderful time
When you held my hand and swore that you'd be mine
In front of a preacher you said I do
I couldn't say a word for thinking of you
All I could do was stand there paralyzed
Oh lucky me, I'm singing ev'ry day, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ever since the day you came my way, ooh-ooh-ooh
You made my life for me, just one big happy game
I'm gay ev'ry morning, At night I'm still the same
Do you remember that wonderful time
When you held my hand and swore that you'd be mine
In front of the preacher you said I do
I couldn't say a word for thinking of you
All I could do was stand there paralyzed
All I could do was stand there paralyzed
In Johnny Earle's song "Paralysed," the lyrics describe the feeling of being in love and how it can make one feel like they are unable to move or act. The first verse sets the scene of being hypnotized by the person's gaze and feeling a warm sensation down one's spine. However, despite wanting to act on these feelings and grab them tight, the singer is unable to move, experiencing a feeling of being paralyzed.
The second verse continues this feeling of being overwhelmed by love, with the singer feeling lucky to be singing every day since meeting this person. The chorus repeats the sentiment of feeling paralyzed, with the singer unable to speak when they got married and only able to stand there and feel the love.
Overall, the lyrics paint a picture of the intensity of love and how it can make one feel almost paralyzed with emotion. The singer is unable to act or speak, but instead is consumed by their feelings for this person.
