Shakin’ All Over
Johnny Kidd Lyrics

That's when I get the shakes all over me
Quivers down my back bone
I've got the shakes down the kneebone
Yeah havin' the tremors in the thighbone
Shakin' all over
Just the way you say goodnight to me
Quivers down my back bone
I've got the quivers down the thighbone
Yeah the tremors in my back bone
Shakin' all over
Quivers down my back bone
Yeah I have the shakes in the kneebone
I've got the tremors in the back bone
Shakin' all over
Well, you make me shake and I like it, baby
Well, you make me shake and I like it, baby
Well, you make me shake and I like it, baby
The lyrics to Johnny Kidd and the Pirates's song "Shakin' All Over" describe the physical and emotional reactions that the singer experiences when they are in close proximity to their lover. The lines "When you move in right up close to me / That's when I get the shakes all over me" suggest that the singer is filled with a sense of excitement and nervousness when their lover is near them. This feeling is further emphasized with the repetition of phrases such as "quivers down my back bone" and "tremors in the thighbone."
The second verse continues to describe the intense physical sensations that the singer experiences when their lover is around them. The line "Just the way you say goodnight to me / Brings that feeling on inside of me" suggests that the simplest of gestures from their lover is enough to send the singer into a state of excitement. The repetition of phrases such as "quivers down my back bone" and "tremors in my back bone" emphasizes the intensity of the physical response.
Overall, the lyrics to "Shakin' All Over" can be interpreted as a celebration of the intense physical and emotional connection between the singer and their lover. The repetition of phrases and the use of vivid language such as "quivers" and "tremors" effectively convey the singer's sense of excitement and anticipation when their lover is near.

I'm a Japanese teenager girl.
My favorite Japanese guitarist respected Mick Green.
So I learned about Johnny Kidd & The Pirates.
I wanted to listen to various songs from this band and I bought the best album CD
And now I like it!
There are very few Japanese who are aware of it
So I think that it would be better if the goodness of this is conveyed to them.
(Maybe my English is something wrong.
But please don't care about it.)
