I don't think you understand the actual underlying message of this song...
It's not about praising God for a wife, it's about praising the wife instead of God.

Hallelujah literally means "praise YHWH", "praise God".
To say someone is your hallelujah is to lift them up above the worship of the Living God from whom all blessings flow.
Those blessings would include a wife.
Replacing the worship of God with a wife essentially turns them into an idol and prevents you from being able to obey the greatest commandment - to love the Lord your God with all your heart.
That's why the artist says;
"You're my glimpse of Kingdom come"...
"you got me touching heaven"...
A wife from the Lord is a gift from heaven but she is not the Kingdom.
Neither is she heaven.
She can't measure up to those standards.
But she does measure up to what God made her to be, a helper and a co-inheritor of the blessings of the Kingdom, of Heaven.
