80's Films
Jon Bellion Lyrics
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
She said, "How does it feel to be you?"
I said, "It's alright, I really think I peaked in high school"
She said, "That isn't possible, you are out of your mind
'Cause we never hooked up in high school"
We just need a night like this, yeah
Take me back to ninth grade
Take me back to ninth grade shit, yeah
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
She said, "How'd we end up in the parking lot in Smithtown?"
The morning's on its way to sunrise
She said, "The island is long, but life is short in this town
I'm glad we got to redo the time"
We just need a night like
We just need a night like this, yeah
Take me back to ninth grade
Take me back to ninth grade shit, yeah
And just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
I can't let go and your lips feel retro
You're my Breakfast Club
You're my song from Cyndi Lauper
No more missed times, we fly by street signs
Let your hips rewind
Take me back into the future, yeah
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive
Just like the 80s films
We'll hook up in my back seat and let my best friend drive

Strictly a producer at age 14, Bellion became increasingly fed up with being asked for generic records. After literally giving singing and rapping "a shot" out of frustration, the now 29 year old Bellion has developed an incredibly unique lane untouched by anyone. His obsession with moving forward and experimentation has driven him to create "solid and refreshing tunes", and in the words of Jon himself "that's all that really matters"

So many people don't realise that Jon doesn't want to blow up, he has said it in the past that he is happy the way he is and happy that he can provide for himself and family while not being noticed on the streets every five seconds. He has said that he doesn't want to become mega famous because he wants to be able to do things like go out and play basketball without a lot of fans chasing him for pictures, (this is all said in his video about how Woodstock, All Time Low and Woke The F*** Up where made).

@Chris Sanchez I wanna let you know that you have a beautiful name.

That's what happened to Robert Smith of the Cure they don't want to do things to make a record and get on the radio to make money they want to do things so people can enjoy their music if they like it or not they do what they want to do which they know is good music and they know somebody will appreciate it
S C
I like that. He still gets to make hella good music without getting hunted down as soon as he steps outside.
