This was superb I was at this gig with my friend, we were close to the girl with the Greek flag and you can see us on the video for No Surrender when Brian joined Bruce on stage. I already loved Bruce but through this I discovered the Gaslight Anthem and feel in love with them fantastic! Happy memories. :-)

At this point in their careers, they had like one record out and were relatively unknown still and here they have BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN singing with them on stage to one of THEIR songs. Amazing. (Yes this is a huge crowd, but I'm not convinced everyone knows The Gaslight Anthem at this point. This is a festival)

This video makes me heart smile. You can tell how much the whole band loves Bruce. Brian can barely sing he is smiling so big in some parts, the drummer has a shit eating grin… and Bruce is totalllllly ripping the guitar. LOVES IT!

+B White Late reply, but I knew from the moment I heard the Gaslight Anthem the first time that 'man, this band sounds a bit like Springsteen, are they a coverband or something?'. No, they're not a coverband.. They're a tribute band, paying freaking homage to Bruce in every sense of it, now with him on the stage in their own song!!

This is just great. i heard of Gaslight a couple years ago never really got my interest. Then i hear 45. Go to youtube, find this video. the passion in Brian Fallon's voice is something i call goosebumps. wait bruce with a guitar solo word son word

i like that most really big bands, are probably "too cool" to do summit like this with an up and coming band. but bruce, whos bigger than most bands full stop comes out in the afternoon (did the same in the tent at glastenbury) and just has fun. what i like about bruce is that you can tell despite being about 60, he's still full of energy, loves music and loves performing!

Bruce was asked who he would choose to step in if he couldn't sing (Bruce stood in for Bono once) he said either Bono or Brian Fallon, complete respect from Bruce, that's one huge compliment.

I grew up listening to Bruce (My mum's a massive fan) so that in a way introduced me to the Gaslight anthem and I'm pretty glad of that :)

I thought the same exact thing. Bruce is generous with his time with other artist. YouTube is full of videos where The Boss shows up and raises the music cred for established performers and young up and coming artist alike. It would hard to name another star that gives back to the music community the way Bruce has.

I went to HRC kinda liking Bruce, but came away loving Bruce and discovering Gaslight Anthem and since then have downloaded a lot of their stuff and raved about them to friends.

I love the way that Brian interacts with the crowd. I've yet to see them live, but from all the live stuff I've seen on Youtube you can feel that he gets a kick out of what he's doing.

I saw them do this the previous afternoon at Glastonbury in a smallish marquee. Luckily I was down at the front and the roar when Bruce came on nearly lifted the whole tent skywards. One of spontaneous moments that will never be forgotten.
