Born in Chelsea, London, Pertwee was educated at Frensham Heights School, an independent school in Rowledge, near Farnham in Surrey, and at some other schools from which he was expelled. After school, he went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), from which he was also expelled after he refused to play the small part of a wind in a Greek play.
Pertwee is best known for his roles as CPO Pertwee in the long-running radio comedy The Navy Lark (1959 - 1977), the third incarnation of The Doctor in the science fiction television series Doctor Who (1970 - 1974), and as the title character in the series Worzel Gummidge. He also hosted the murder mystery quiz programme Whodunnit! between 1974 and 1978 for Thames Television. Pertwee also voiced the character of "Spotty" in the 1980s cartoon series SuperTed.
In 1972, he released a vocal version of the Doctor Who theme music entitled "Who is the Doctor", and in 1980 he released a single based on Worzel Gummidge entitled "Worzel's Song" from the album Worzel Gummidge Sings.

Imagine you’re in your 20s then suddenly your really short, young teenage self appears in front you telling you you’re an idiot and he is more capable. That’s basically what the Third Doctor is feeling.
@cryptozoomauler5505
That really puts it into perspective!
@thornofsociety6857
To be fair based on how adulthood is going my teenage self wouldn't be wrong in saying that.
@GESSO217
I had a dream about that once. It was rather weird shaking hands with my past self and the feeling was mutual.
@user-jn1wm3tb8v
@@GESSO217 I had a dream like that too and she asked if I left my boyfriend at the time.

And, if you go a step further with this way of thinking when the First Doctor turns up on Three's monitor to lecture the both of them, that's the Doctor's child-like self telling them both to stop fighting - probably why the Doctor, in general, is so kind to children because he understands their naive wisdom in a way

"I don't like it."
Doctor not liking his future self's TARDIS since forever.
