He is best known as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show and for his political satire.
Stewart started off as a stand-up comedian but later moved on to television, hosting Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central. He then went on to host his own show on MTV, called The Jon Stewart Show. Stewart also hosted another show on MTV, called You Wrote It, You Watch It.
Stewart began hosting The Daily Show on Comedy Central in early 1999. He is also a writer and co-producer of the show. Yes and no. it's a terrible goal, and an insane one on an individual measurement. If you think equal outcomes are a thing, you must spend a lot of time and effort making sure to never think about someone with severe disabilities. I would say "No matter how much affirmative action, Fred can never become president", but you wouldn't know who Fred is because he isn't socially important, whereas Barrack and DonaldJ are.
That's where the left goes wrong. Empathetic on the surface, but there's no substance beneath it.
The right, however, misses the obvious. If we seek equality of opportunity, and if we acknowledge that there are no significant inherent differences between the groups (true for race, not for sex), then the combination would result in - on average - equal outcomes. If the coin goes heads 990 out of 1000 times, it's probably not a fair coinflip.
Though that doesn't tell you whether the coin is rigged, or the table, or the method, or there's another trick.
Likewise you can't tell by outcomes alone what causes it: racism, or cultural differences, or generational residue, or effects of clustering and locality, or...many things. But you can tell that - unless there's a big difference between the races - there must be a difference in their opportunity. Be it external (harder to get a good job) or internal (e.g. grew up in a bad neighborhood and got into a gang before being old enough to decide whether to drink).
That's where the right goes wrong. Seeing the dirty bathwater, understanding it's dirty, but flushing down the baby as well.

I don't think you understand universal healthcare.
If you think it will solve mystery illnesses of treat cancers you need to look at other countries with "universal" healthcare.
After 3 decades serving patients it's quite obvious why the US pays so much for healthcare. Because we all have it. But if your not really poor or really rich... It doesn't serve you well.
And because we ignore cheap prevention like a blood pressure medicine for a lower middle class person, but because we have bad universal healthcare we will pay for that untreated hypertension person's dyalisis and disability at a price of over 1 million dollars per patient before we let them die.
That's US universal healthcare. It's already here
Regan gave it to us. EMTALA. Look it up. We all get treated. Except for the prevention... That keeps you from needing it.

Does anyone else find it extremely disturbing how coordinated politicians and mainstream media are on the use of phrases and buzzwords?
@ryanlyle9201
It's either one person telling them to say the same thing, or a bunch or reporters watching other reporters and repeating phrases they thought sounded good.
It's buttfuckery either way
@johnbutterfield1855
Go to SEVERAL churches next Sunday and note the phrases and buzzwords!
@E_MZ_
Bc mainstream media is told what to say by the corporations that find them.
@crungefactory
It's called MANUFACTURING CONSENT

It's like time is a circle instead of a line. Same messages but a different time.
@billbillerton6122
"Racial reckoning" When every news organization repeats the same exact line it makes me wonder if one person writes the script for all of them.
@redditor7548
If you check early life you will notice that most media is controlled by one group
@markwildt5728
Yes... They're called the Sinclair Broadcasting Group ok (SBG)

The best part is that the coroner's report states that Floyd died due to an overdose, and not from physical strangulation or chokehold.
And that there's footage from more than one camera that day.
WILD times, folks. :)
