Jonas Brothers Lyrics

The time you walked into the bedroom
You were visibly upset
Telling me I made a bad move
But I didn't do nothing
Start screaming wake the neighbors
Now everybody's out for blood
I didn't want no confrontation
Well you gotta chill out
Cause baby I don't wanna fight with you
And every battle we've fought
Just make us look like fools
No you cant have World War III
If there's only one side fighting
And you know
Whoa oh
That there's lessons left to learn
Every time you attack
It doesn't drive me to fight you back
And then I know
Whoa oh
That I'll never let it be World War III
World War III
Let me tell 'em
Now your rounding up your army
Getting all your troops on me
Telling lies just to feel happy
But i wont retaliate
No
No you cant have World War III
If there's only one side fighting
And you know
Whoa oh
That there's lessons left to learn
Every time you attack
It doesn't drive me to fight you back
And then I know
Whoa oh
That I'll never let it be World War III
Well you got to chill out
Cause baby i don't want to fight with you
and battle we fought just make us look like fools
No you cant have World War III
If there's only one side fighting
And you know
Whoa oh
That there's lessons left to learn
Every time you attack
It doesn't drive me to fight you back
And then I know
Whoa oh
That I'll never let it be World War III
Not gonna be World War III
Every time you attack
It doesn't drive me to fight you back
And I know
Whoa oh
That I'll never let it be World War III
World War III
World War III
The Jonas Brothers' song "World War III" is about a couple who is arguing and the escalation of their disagreement. The lyrics describe the situation where the female partner walks into the bedroom and is visibly upset with the male partner, blaming him for making a bad move. The male partner tries to remain calm, but the female partner starts screaming, causing the neighbors to wake up. The male partner does not want any confrontation, but it has already turned into a war of words. The chorus expresses that the male partner does not want to have a World War III-like scenario, urging the female partner to stop fighting.
The song is about the importance of communication in a relationship and avoiding escalating disagreements. It highlights the fact that no matter how small the issue is, it has the potential to turn into a larger problem if not handled properly. The lyrics also emphasize the idea of picking one's battles and not fighting every disagreement that arises in a relationship. By choosing to stay calm and avoiding conflict, one can prevent a small argument from turning into something much more significant.

You can't stop the war
You can't do it all alone
It's too heavy for
For you to carry on your own
But tonight you are mine
The world will be fine
It's just us in the moment
So don't think about the world
Stop blaming yourself, I know you do
Don't think about the world
Just me and you
Tonight
No I can't fly
Can't swim across the sea
I don't wonder why
It's just the way it's gotta be
I love that you care
And I know that you're scared
It's just us in the moment
Hey, hey
Don't think about the world
Stop blaming yourself, I know you do
Don't think about the world
Just me and you
Tonight
Don't stress for nothing
Let me take you away
From all the madness
Just skip with me today
'Cause you're all I want
You're all I need
Right here right now
It's you and me
So
Oh oh oh
Don't think about the world
(Don't think, don't think about it)
Stop blaming yourself, I know you do
Don't think about the world
Just me and you
Don't think about the world
Just me and you
Tonight
