Their debut album is planned for a release sometime in 2009 and a North American tour is expected to follow. Jonathan Davis and the SFA have a CD/DVD combo available at Invisible Arts. Jonathan's bodyguard and assistant Loc came up with the name of the band. The band has recently used their official website and a Ustream webcast to preview several demos from their upcoming album. Jonathan revealed on his webcast that he has a project titled Sexual Gyrations of the Universe that features himself and Korn backup vocalist Kalen Chase.
A cover of Lil Wayne's "Got Money" featuring Slipknot and Stone Sour guitarist James Root was recently made available for download on the band's official website, accompanied by a message from Davis to ". . . download the track I've been remixing the past few days. It's not representative of the album I'm working on but it was just something fun I wanted to try . . ."
Jonathan Davis has expressed interest with working with famed English producer Guy Sigsworth. It should also be noted that Korn drummer Ray Luzier has been recording drums on the debut album.
Percussionist Mike Dillon is expected to appear on the album, as he was seen in the studio tracking.

According to MTV News, select songs on Jonathan Davis and the SFA's solo debut are being co-written by acclaimed songwriting team, The Matrix, better known for their production on Korn's 2005 album, See You On The Other Side.

Nothing's happening, everything's fine
It's the same old situation
Each time you get the last word I turn away blind
You were never there for me at all
You always gotta tear me down
You, you take the best of me
So you really wanna do the shit now
You wanna take another shot in my pride
One of these days your words will ricochet off me
Tearing off your hide
You were never there for me at all
You always gotta tear me down
You, you take the best of me
It's gone, my happiness is never allowed
My happiness is never allowed
My happiness is never allowed
My happiness is never allowed
(My happiness is never allowed)
You were never there for me at all
You always gotta tear me down
You, you take the best of me
It's gone, my happiness is never allowed
(My happiness is never allowed)
The song "Happiness" by Jonathan Davis and the SFA talks about a toxic relationship where one person always tears the other one down and never supports them. The lyrics describe the singer's frustration with the other person's behavior and the toll it has taken on their happiness. It begins with the singer accusing the other person of trying to leave without any concern for the consequences of their actions. The singer believes that the other person is lying to themselves and that everything is not fine, and that they do not care about the singer's feelings.
The chorus highlights how the other person brings the singer down and takes away their happiness. The lyrics suggest that this has been going on for a long time and the singer has had enough of it. As the song continues, the singer seems to be standing up for themselves and calling out the other person's behavior. The lyrics suggest that the other person keeps attacking the singer's pride, but the singer is no longer willing to take it. In the last chorus, the singer repeats that their happiness is never allowed, emphasizing the impact that this toxic relationship has had on them.
