Youtube's policy has repeatedly been that as long as you're using clips & including commentary you're within their policy. More likely than not the creator just didn't want to have to deal with YouTube. If it got demonitized etc they'd get to put the video back up but lose those crucial first weeks of release. It still sucks that they chose to make what could've been a pretty good video crappy over something that might've happened that they would've won 🙄

back when renting movies on VHS you would know what scene was often paused and freeze-framed because the picture quality would drastically change, i remember those few famous seconds in Scanners went haywire even losing color going to b&w

Remember going to see 'Basic Instinct' at the cinema in 1992. Had not heard of Sharon Stone before although I had seen 'Police Academy' and 'Total Recall' a few years earlier. I think she will always be remembered for 'Basic Instinct' though no matter what and for obvious reasons. Also saw 'Grease' at the cinema and who can forget Olivia Newton John. Gorgeous natural beauty as well as raunchy at the end.

I have never seen She's the Man, but I had only to hear that the main character's name was Viola, I did not even need to hear, for I already knew, that her brother's name was Sebastian. the movie is a modern retelling of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Jackie Chan's film "Police Story" (the final scene that plays during the wrap up) included in the film the "money shot" big stunt in a way that you wouldn't need to pause it since it plays each cameras take sequentially so you get it several times from different angles. But that is like putting it in boldface font, and makes you want to rewatch it more and more. Many of his films actually do that, but not much is said about that editing approach, mainly as it's considered a cheap way to play up the run time of a stunt, but it does serve a purpose.

i grew up from 8 to 18 in the 80s and we were poor BUT we had cable, mind you i was never doing a lot of freeze framing because like i said we were watching cable without any pause. but as far as the pausing for nudity aspect of this thing goes there were absolute TONS of films in the 80s. films like "Animal House" and " Porky's" spawned an entire industry of raunchy teen sex comedies, there were also endless slasher type films full of nudity and all sorts of summer camp type films. even some of the more wholesome John Hughes type teens films had some nudity in them "Sixteen Candles" and "Some Kind Of Wonderful". i guess kind of my point im trying to get to is the huge success of those "American Pie" movies always tripped me out, they were basically just doing an 80s style teen sex comedy and it was only a few years later. but what i really never understood was how huge that Shannon Elizabeth actress got for a short period of time just because she went topless in that scene, and they werent even real. same with Denise Richards in "Wild Things". itis strange how trends go, in the 70s we had these great gritty violent films like Deathwish, The Godfather, Escape From New York, The Warriors, Taxi Driver, Clockwork Orange, Deer Hunter, Dirty Harry and many many more. in the 80s there was tons of nudity, everything had nudity. in the 90s the huge blockbuster CGI films were the thing, Jurassic Park, The Matrix, Terminator 2, The Star Wars Prequels and much more im not thinking of. what did the 2000s have? right now its looking like we are going to be in a decade of awful woke BS films.

I think it may have been fake anyway. I assume the dialog for the storm troopers were dubbed and didn't use the intercom system depicted in the movie which could've been too complicated. Anthony Daniels was able to act with no dialog only to add it later.

Here's a fun fact, during the shooting of the infamous shower scene in Psycho Anthony Perkins was doing a play that week it was filmed and it was an actress in Mrs Bates outfit not him giving Janet Leigh the Coup de Grace. Indeed the actress face was all but black out by makeup but in a closeup she is clearly visible and it was another actress that Perkins wrapped up in the shower curtain and carried nude to the trunk of of the car Leigh's character parked outside the motel room. Another notorious paused moment was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit where Jessica Rabbit gets tossed out of the car as it spun out and her goodies were visible but it was allegedly taken out after its discover after its intial home release on video. Margot Robbie was said to have got rather drunk in order to the scene with Decaprio. But the Golden Era in Hollywood also had its risqué scenes before the Hayes Code and Tarzan's Jane swam nude in a scene Johnny Weismuller and Myrna Loy of the Thin Man Mystery films did un unclothed tube scene where only the rippling water hide everything she had. Indeed Easter Eggs are now intentional in films where before they we're continuity errors but it's nice to see Facts Verse went for many a Voyeur's delight than something more violent/bloody.

@@childfreesingleandatheist8899 I've still got a 6 head, fully functional and almost studio quality VCR with 5.1 surround and Hi-fi. Was being thrown out in 1994 due to up grades. I grabbed it and opened it to recondition the entire deck but wasn't anything wrong with it.
So I bought 2 recon kits , and an extra cylinder head plus motor. I keep it cool and out of dust till needed. Excellent video quality.

I think a Countach S, looks that bit better. Always been my favourite as well.
Plus Detomaso Pantera, Porsche 928 S4, McLaren F1, KTM X-Bow GTX, and a few more of the old classics.
I wanted a kit car called Purvis Eureka, for decades, because in reality it was about the only thing I could afford.
Then I started smoking, and fked that up.

Firstly: Olivia's character in Grease is Sandy Olsen not Sandra Dee
Secondly: interesting fact the Shower murder scene is not the most controversial scene in the movie.its the flushing toilet something up until that point that had never been shown on celluloid..add to that Hitchcock was brilliant with another first having his lead Actress being knocked off so early in the movie.
