My thought as I read news about him passed away.
I asked myself "Why?" thousand times and began to regret things I haven't done for SHINee especially Jonghyun of all this time.
The biggest question mark is, Kim Jonghyun, the funny, humorous, and romantic idol who I admired, dead by suicide? WHY?
I'm hoping a miracle to come and gives him another chance to life. If that happen, I want him to know that everyone loves him and won't let him be lonely again. I want to show him the beautiful side of life. He is young and talented, there are many things he can do. But perhaps it won't happen.
I can take if he want to quit as an idol and live the usual life. But he chose this freaking way (suicide). He wasn't even marry and had kids yet my gosh.... I'm sure he can be a good husband and dad.

Thankyou for your voices, songs, dorkiness, humors, love, everything. Thank you for being part of SHINee, and be a part of me to. You will always be in my heart. Always. Something I noticed between Taemin and Jonghyun. With Taemin music and MV's he engages your fantasies in this dreamy like way but with Jonghyun it feels like with every song and MV you're having a direct interaction with him or are having a direct front row look into his world. Jonghyun engages your mind and forces you to pay attention to him, his words and thoughts. Taemin on the other hand paints a story, a fantasy that whisks you away and makes your heart flutter, like a romance novel. Not sure if anyone else pays attention to the interesting differences between these two but I'd love to know. Comment below if you see the same thing or differently.

This morning my sister came to me and said, "That guy from SHINee died." That guy from SHINee was more than just a guy to me. Not only was he a talented singer, and dancer but an incredible and loving human being. He sang and I sang along, he danced and I wanted to dance with him. I couldn't believe that our darling Jonghyun was gone. I held in my tears since I was in a public place but I realized that crying wouldn't be a bad thing. My love for him was never something I should've been ashamed of. I hope that together the KPop community and the SHINee world can come together at this horrible time of mourning. I am saddened by the passing of our beloved Jonghyun. May you shine forever in the stars with the love of your fans lifting you up forever. Rest in Peace.

I loved shinee since 2009 and my god.. just hearing about Jonghyun from my friend through text right when I woke up that morning made me cry way too much when I actually found out it wasn’t a false rumor or some hoax. I feel the same way and I can relate in so many way because my love for shinee in general has skyrocketed for years. I have love for all of the members. Those guys are amazing people! Jonghyun was such an amazing person... so full of talent. Sucks that it had to happened this way. Knowing this is also a wake up call/warning for the Kpop music industry with their really high expectations and what not. kaiyaxe Fans don't know everything about their idols, only what they choose to show. And the fans are not responsible for the idols at that level. And you cannot simply walk away from fame. Once you have entered, everyone knows who you are, so it never truly goes away. You feel like you are in a cage, surrounded by a crowd, watching you and yelling at you various things all at once. It can drive a person crazy, feeling cornered, suffocating. And who knows how the fans would've reacted to him quitting? A lot of times, a fanbase that is deemed loyal and accepting can be quite contradictive and be vicious towardd their oh so beloved idol for doing something they deem unacceptable. The world of fame can be so cleverly filtered to the public eye. We can never know how he truly felt and why, but whatever it was, he killed himself. Mass admiration is no match for personal relationships. The fans can only do so much in their position and what they know. Thinking that mass admiration can replace personal love, is self deceiving. He was awesome, he is in a better place now, I hope, and may he rest in peace.

True, I'm well aware of that. I am just so sad and not sure how to react so I uselessly blaming myself as his fan. What I mean is if he chose to quit as an idol and later on lives his life peacefully, that's a good thing compared to this, right? Eventhough I also know the risk of idol who once become famous, will always be eyed by public wherever or whatever they do. That's why I didn't say him quitting as idol is better, but the fact that he chose to commit suicide is just.. Hard. Yet we have to accept it.

Don’t blame yourself.... It’s true that we didn’t know what was really behind that beautiful smile but I’m sure he would be sad to see us like this.... I’m sure from above he’s watching over all of us. Do not worry, he’s at peace now. I’m sure he wouldn’t want all of us to grieve over him and instead he’d want us to remember the happy times. I know it’s hard for you and all of us but try and remember the good times and treasure them. He may no longer be with us physically but he is spiritually.

The only function the banks have in this process is holding the fiat which eventually gets turned to the fb coin, or banks that hold fiat that act as a security for the coins (ie that the libra foundation holds) It will be interesting to see how regulators and banks react now, they must be scared As for Bitcoin, this is great for it, it's re-opening the conversation about money, finance, and how governments and central banks have constantly screwed up our money system. As people take steps to participate in the libra ecosystem, they will also start looking into Bitcoin, and realize the advantages it has over everything else (including Libra), as a 100% trustless and secure store of value and value transfer. sellected writes... This is Jonghyun's first ever debut MV. That was the time i felt so proud because our main vocal finally had his solo debut. At first I wasn't used to this kind of style and music but it got more interesting as I gave it a few listens after that. I really like the performance in Yoo Hee Yeol's sketchbook, if you haven't checked it out then you should. His adlibs in the end of the song is just *chef kiss*. I got goosebump every time!

Wow, I'm honestly at shock at how many people dislike this song. Now, I'm not going to compliment the MV, the graphics, Jonghyun's abs, no I will push that aside to compliment the true talent that is Kim Jonghyun. Like, wow, I may get disagreements but Jonghyun is one of the best vocals in the K-pop music industry by far. As to what I've listen, his vocals are outstanding, smooth and just downright amazing. Did you guys, and by guys I mean the one's who claim the song is mediocre and cliche, even take the time to listen to his vocals? They are perfection.
But no, from the comments I've seen, many are bashing on the music video or how supposedly 'its similiar to Taemin's Danger'. So what? Its still a goodass song, with its own unique melody that flows well with Jonghyun's vocals perfectly. Eh, maybe you dislike the song, maybe it isn't your favorite project by SM, but don't come here stating that your disappointed in Jonghyun or claiming that he's lost his talent. Because, he hasn't. I think the people who are disappointed CLEARLY didn't know Jonghyun's style and were expecting a typical SHINee dance track. As for the Danger comparisons, I still haven't found the similarities besides the dark concept....When I first heard the song I had an open mind and anticipated having to listen a few times to get into it since I am a person who prefers dance tracks. I can appreciate the pure genius of this and Deja-Boo now after listening a few times and getting into a slow jam mood. This solo album will weed out the people who aren't true fans (not those who don't like this sort of music but those who are unfairly bashing it based on their opinion instead of just acknowledging his hard work) and attract those who like this type of music as opposed to SHINee's unique sound (which is hit or miss for most people).

Well, when I first saw in youtube a video that was titled RIP Jonghyun I thought it was a joke, I searched on the internet to see if it was a joke or not. I saw it on Wikipedia and news about Jonghyun... He IS dead, when I read that,I was REALLY in shock, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT, I said nothing but looked for more info, not believing it. He was part of my childhood, I discovered kpop with shinee and some other groups but I liked them so much. This is really hurtful for every one but we should be happy and remember a lot of good memories of him to his honor. He told us that he wanted that, althought I think suicide wasn't the best choice for a handsome, talented, good-hearted man(AND FOR ANYONE)and with a precious, powerful voice like him. I have moderate depression and thought to suicide two times but I could never do it, living with depression or dysthymia can be really stressful and hurtful so don't judge him so easily, there are so many reasons why you can get depressed and also suicide when you get depressed, depression is really dangerous and many people take it just as something stupid but they don't know that sometimes a good advice or cheers can be really helpful and motivational for someone with it. I motivate you guys to help other people that have or don't have depression, you never know how powerful can be one simple word, and don't judge too easily cause we all got a lot of things we've passed through and everyone thinks and is different. Jonghyun we'll always remember you and how we loved your charisma and talent, just how we all loved yourself. Thanks for everything Kim Jonghyun, you did amazing on this life, now it's time to rest in peace. I still can't believe it, how a young man that was just doing shows days before, you sure did great in your music dream oppa, and I can imagine how much pain you were suffering from a long time ago to do this, we respect your decision even thought we don't think it was the way to stop your pain, I think you were a hero cause you endured much time with depression and acted like if nothing was happening, you were too strong and you couldn't handle it anymore, YOU DIDN'T DESERVE IT YOU WERE ALWAYS A SO GOOD PERSON AND ARTIST😭😭😭 WE'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU, WE LOVE YOU, KIM JONGHYUN, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, EVERY GOOD TIME AND BAD TOO. Anna Kim the worst part was he didn’t believe anyone wanted to get to know the real him because people are so cruel and judgemental. It hurts to this day and probably always will. We all now feel the pain he felt when he was alive. That’s rough and difficult. But know he’s no longer tormented by the monsters in his head. 💟☯️🕉

SM, pay attention to all of the suffering. Hope you realize that employees are human beings too. They don't need only money to survive. Jonghyun just wanted to find happiness and although he tried that through music, his heart and mind were in pain. The worst is he showed it many times, but no one cared about. yeah you are right....he showed people that he was suffering but i don t understand...it is like people were blind....it is paintfull to know that he suffered so hard and cried in front of cameras. ..i feel like he was left to fight alone and he couldn t make it because he didn t have someone by his side to make him feel comfortable with himself...it s like people didn t realize it was a really serious problem there...he needed a friend to confess all his pain and real emotions that he kept inside..in my opinion ,after he crying and suffering ,someone should have come to him ,take his hand and tell him:,,Jong Hyun from now on untill you will recover from depression we together will learn to fight it,i will stay by your side every moment and whenever you feel to confess to me about everything that makes you cry,my door is anytime wide open for you”,i believe it would ve been easier for him ....i had no idea that he suffered so much, until recently when i discover he is not physical with us anymore...I believe his Shinee members were by his side and i appreciate the beautiful things they offer to Jong Hyun ,beautiful moments.:-(he is an amazing soul,i love him.

Are you reading the comments here? LOTS of people are saying that they find this song dissapointing and bland and that Taemin's solo was much better because it was more upbeat and danceable. It's very weird because just before the song was released everyone was wishing it wasn't a typical SM dance track but even if it's not a typical SM track but a chill mature track, people aren't satisfied either.

I am so happy to see Jonghyun debuting with a song and album that is of the style of music that he wants to perform. Anyone who is surprised that Jonghyun would choose to do a chill R&B song like this one hasn't been paying attention to things he's said before, nor listened to his own compositions.

This type of music might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is Jonghyun's. I couldn't be more happy that SM let him contribute so much of himself to Base. Personally I love this style of music; those of you that don't, that's okay too, but please respect that it is what Jonghyun himself wants to do.

Jonghyun, please keep doing your thing. Fighting! ^^

Jonghyun is absolutely insane for this. Its his debut song but he makes it look like he's been doing it on his own for years. and he owns every stage that he preforms this song on its just his charisma that brings life to this song he's one of the few people who're able to pull off so many different genres and make it all look seemless as if these genres were solely made for him. Kim Jonghyun from SHINee is always our pride 🤍
