The Christmas Song
Joni James Lyrics
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you!

Scratchy, noisy High Fidelity. Made this perfect. Nice album.

It would be ok if the record wasn't warped. That is actually kind of irritating.

This album was removed from Apple Music 3 days before Christmas 2020 and I will honestly never recover. Iโm crying rn.

I was a 7 year old guy when my brother bought this album and when I saw her immidiately, I had a crush on her. I keep playing this record every Christhmas time. 20 years ago, I was able to buy a CD two in 1. Christmas and Easter album in 1 CD. Still a fan

I like discovering new, old artists. Heard this today for the first time. Had never heard of her before. It was before my time. They just don't do them like this anymore.

Great 50's Christmas sound from the era of leading ladies of song! This is one of the sounds of Christmas so many of us fondly remember. The only quibble I have is that I sound have likes more bass mix.. but that was one of the MGM execs main ideas; to surpass Mercury with thier living presence engineering. This, the amount of "presence" you hear here. But it can become strident if taken too far. Thank you for loving this now, quite rare, Yuletide collection!
