He also plays piano, organ, viola, synths, Glockenspiel, harmonica and the Ondes Martenot, among a host of other devices used to enhance the soundscape of many Radiohead songs.
Years active: since 1985.
He also uses modular synthesizers, a Korg Kaoss Pad, and a laptop (for voice clips/modulation) on newer tracks. Jonny also uses a Rhodes Seventy Three piano, a prominent feature during the OK Computer era. Jonny is one of the most prominent users of the Ondes Martenot, an early electronic musical instrument with a keyboard and slide. He uses Ondes Martenot on the soundtrack to the film Bodysong, as well as in Radiohead, and mainly around the Kid A / Amnesiac era, on songs such as 'Pyramid Song' and 'How to Disappear Completely'.
Apart from his work with Radiohead, Greenwood is also a composer, and has produced several classical works, some inspired by Polish composer Penderecki, as part of his tenure as the BBC's composer-in-residence. He also composed the soundtracks to the films Bodysong (2003), There Will Be Blood (2007) and Norwegian Wood (2010). Some of his more recent scores include We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) and a return to working with director Paul Thomas Anderson, in his latest film The Master (2012).

If y'all liked this film do check out the rest of Lynne Ramsey's work. She is, bar none, the best at depicting mental illness on screen (as she so expertly does with Phoenix here), blending memory and reality effortlessly. She's also, rather interestingly, one of the best I've seen recently at depicting violence. YWNRH is quite viscerally violent, and yet there is no gore as such, no shots of brutalised victims.

She one of the best “pure cinema” directors. Which basically means she’s a master when it comes to the Cinematography, sound and editing.

And to think so much of her creative genius was STILL removed from the final cut of the movie. I highly recommend reading the script, it has a few missing scenes, explinations for stuff that wasnt explained in the film, and the 'countdown' that you hear during the film was originally supposed to be one-long countdown from 1000, ending at the suicide scene. Really impactful stuff

@Nicholas Conklin I'll do that! Thank you.

One of the best films I have ever seen. Truly outstanding in every regard.

Have you ever thought that metaphorically ( in film) his mother was that little girl... I explained to myself and it makes sense to me. It gives so much meaning to film... Overall one of best things I have ever seen, that man is fighting greatest evil in this world who still lives strongly and sadly most of all in the elite world.
Katherine McDevitt
WOAH. Great take. Thank you for this

Interesting theory, but this film has little to do with either child trafficking or politicians. That is simply window dressing or background staging. The film is about someone so broken and far outside society trying to find a meaning/purpose in order not to just kill himself. Nina is broken too that’s why he saves her and in term she saves him.

The music in this movie is just fabulous. Finally someone with good taste throughout the whole film

Tremendously moving.
