It's too late
Who's gonna tell you things
Aren't so great
You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothing's wrong, well, well
Who's gonna drive you home
Who's gonna pick you up
When you fall?
Who's gonna hang it up
When you call?
Who's gonna pay attention
To your dreams?
And who's gonna plug their ears
When you scream?
You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?
Who's gonna drive you
Who's gonna drive you
Who's gonna drive you home?
Who's gonna hold you down
When you shake?
Who's gonna come around
When you break?
You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?
You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothing's wrong, well, well
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?
The song 'Drive' by Jordan Knight is about being lost, uncertain, and needing someone to rely on. The lyrics ask about who will be there for you when things fall apart, when you need someone's help to get through the night. It highlights the importance of having someone who can understand your pain and help you move on.
In the first verse, the singer poses a rhetorical question about who will tell you when it's too late, and who will point out that things are not okay. It stresses on the importance of realizing that nothing is wrong and encourages people to seek help when they are lost. The chorus then asks who will be there for you when you need it the most and who will drive you home when you're lost. The second verse then asks who will be there to hold you and to whom you can turn to when you're broken.
The lyrics of 'Drive' are emotional and powerful, invoking a sense of vulnerability and need for connection. The song was released in 1999 and remains one of Jordan Knight's most popular hits.
