He also performed with Tito Puente, Grover Washington, Fuse One, Gato Barbieri, Willie Colon and others. He died of cancer at the age of 39.

Aunque fallecio a muy corta edad ( 39 años ) Jorge Dalto nos dejo una muestra de su gran talento musical y de la magistral forma de tocar el piano y la espineta. Ademas se rodeo de grandes musicos que elocuentemente expusieron un nuevo estilo de musica "Fusion " como son George Benson, Leon Russell, Gato Barbieri, Tito Puente, Ruben Blades y otros mas que se escapan a la memoria. Descanse en paz Jorge Dalto.

Bought this CD when it was new. One of the best in my collection especially with Nicky Marrero on timbales and Carlos "Patato" Valdez on congas. They smoked "Killer Joe". It was one of, if not the best rendition of this Benny Golson classic that I've ever heard. Jorge was a brilliant pianist and although he left this world too early his music leaves us with a powerful statement of his genius and his compelling mastery of latin jazz. Viva la Jorge!
