Lovestain
José González Lyrics
You left a love stain on my heart
And you left a bloodstain on the ground
But blood comes off easily
But blood comes off easily
You left a love stain on my heart
And you left a bloodstain on the ground
But blood comes off easily

The song Crosses, from Crosses EP and the later Veneer, appeared on the finale of the second season of the popular American television comedy-drama The O.C.. His cover of Heartbeats (also from Veneer) was used in a popular Sony BRAVIA TV commercial featuring coloured bouncing balls in San Francisco and an episode of Zach Braff's Scrubs
His song Far Away was also prominently featured in the Rockstar video game Red Dead Redemption.
His trademark sound is solo acoustic guitar with soft melody. His work, although mostly original, does include acoustic covers of great hits such as Love Will Tear Us Apart, Born in the U.S.A., and Teardrop.
González also appears in the Zero 7 album The Garden, in which he sings on three tracks and on a re-worked version of Crosses.

Such a shame I didn't ask for this song when I saw him live.
Faris Monshi
One of the most unique artists out there imo. He has a very distinct voice and sound. I'm glad to see him getting more exposure such as in games like Red Dead Redemption and more recently, Life is Strange.
Also, the guitar in this song sounds like a Rage Against The Machine riff if it were acoustic haha
Jeremy Wall
dude his guitar lines are absolute filth🔥 - can't imagine them with distortion
Andrew Misle & The Inner Revolutionaries
I’ve had such admiration for this guy from the first time I heard him. He is so free in his style. Deep, strong and soft. amazing
Sarah Cochica
