Time to Send Someone Away
José González Lyrics
Sad how you've been all lead astray.
Go on count your chins.
Wolves are all lined up waiting.
A trick is to not move.
Showing off with jewelry.
Humiliation will be your new rule.
Time to send someone away,
not me I'm not in.
They lead you to their maze
when no ones asked them to.
But hey you're walking over bodies
just to witness something new.
Just to witness something new.
Time to send someone away,
not me I'm not in.
Feel that summer rain, it's in your face again.
Feel that summer rain, it's in your face again

The song Crosses, from Crosses EP and the later Veneer, appeared on the finale of the second season of the popular American television comedy-drama The O.C.. His cover of Heartbeats (also from Veneer) was used in a popular Sony BRAVIA TV commercial featuring coloured bouncing balls in San Francisco and an episode of Zach Braff's Scrubs
His song Far Away was also prominently featured in the Rockstar video game Red Dead Redemption.
His trademark sound is solo acoustic guitar with soft melody. His work, although mostly original, does include acoustic covers of great hits such as Love Will Tear Us Apart, Born in the U.S.A., and Teardrop.
González also appears in the Zero 7 album The Garden, in which he sings on three tracks and on a re-worked version of Crosses.

No problem man!

One of my favourites from this beautiful soul poet/musician. I wonder which country these images come from...the clothes hanging outside and the type of houses/buildings plus the nature reminds me of Brasil.

When your whole life you think after "Not me," he says in a tone that indicates you as being misled or that he finds a slight amount of amusement in it, "oh, no, no" when it's actually "I'm not in" Feels bad man but the real question is why are we sending someone, other than the singer or narrator, away, and where are we sending them? Why is now the time? And who might we possibly be sending away? And how are we going to be sending them?
