Me sigo enamorando
En cada amanecer
Amada mía
De risas y de llanto
Compañera de tardes amarillas
Luna de medía noche
Y sol del mediodía
Serás por siempre campo
Y yo semilla
Amada mía
Un día del otoño
Se vestirán de blanco mis cabellos
Se quedarán dormidos
Tus besos en mis besos
Y buscaré tus manos
Para mecerlos
Amada mía
Después de tantos años
A tu lado
Yo sigo siendo brisa
Y tú, montaña y llano
Amada mía
Después de tantos mares
Navegados
Tú sigues siendo orilla
Y yo, gaviota
The song Amada Mia by Jose Luis Perales is a romantic ode to a long-standing love. The singer expresses his deep and enduring affection for his beloved, despite the passage of time and the challenges they have faced. He remembers the moments they have shared together, including nights spent side by side, dreams dreamed each day, and hours spent on the road. No matter what, he continues to love her deeply.
The singer also uses vivid imagery to describe his lover, emphasizing her captivating black eyes and the fiery passion of her kisses. He compares himself to an unchanging tree, and her to the earth that surrounds it - the grounding force that gives it life. Together, they form a strong and unbreakable bond. He goes on to describe the ups and downs of their relationship, from the moments of laughter to the moments of tears, and all of the in-between. He refers to her as his companion, his moon, and his sun - a constant presence in his life.
The song culminates in the singer reflecting on the future, when he and his beloved will inevitably grow old together. Even then, he knows that his love for her will endure, and he imagines a time when they will be as intertwined as the mountain and the plain, the sea and the shore. In this way, Amada Mia is a moving testament to the power of love and the enduring strength of a committed relationship.

Gracias
