Amor Sin Limite
Jose Luis Perales Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

No pide nada.

El amor cree todo sin límites,
aguanta todo sin límites
y es generoso sin límites, sin limites,
no tiene envidia ni sabe contar.
No pide nada.

No pide nada.

No pide nada.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of the song Amor Sin Limite by Jose Luis Perales express the importance and the power of love in one's life. The first stanza talks about how the singer can achieve almost anything in life, but if he lacks love, his life is nothing. The second and third stanzas describe how true love is selfless, patient, forgiving, and generous. The singer highlights how love doesn't keep count, doesn't get irritated or selfish, and is always seeking to believe the best in the person they love. He further stresses that love is humble, just, and compassionate, always telling the truth, and waiting endlessly for the person without expecting much in return.

The repetition of the phrases, "sin límites," which means "without limits" emphasizes that love knows no bounds and is eternal. The singer sings of the things he could do, such as touching the sun, emptying the sea, and inventing a place for freedom. However, none of these things holds any importance without true love in his life.

Overall, the song is a beautiful tribute to the power of love and how it can transform our lives into something meaningful and worthwhile.
