Low
Josh Auer Lyrics

Blurring out of view
I?m low low
Scary just how often
Pushing comes to show
I?m low low
With you I?m someone too
Floating in the ocean
Drifting far away
I?m low low
Tell me there is sunshine
Dancing with the rain
I?m low low
With you I?m someone
With you I?m someone too
Feeling like a stranger
In a foreign land
I?m low low
Standing like an orphan
Here without a name
I?m low low
With you I?m someone
With you I?m someone
With you I?m someone too
The lyrics of Josh Auer's song "Low" depict a person who feels lost and disconnected from the world around them. They describe feeling like they are constantly under watch, to the point where their surroundings appear to blur out of view. The repeated refrain of "I'm low low" creates a feeling of hopelessness and despair, as if the singer is unable to pull themselves out of this state.
The second verse takes on a more imaginative tone, as the singer describes themselves "floating in the ocean" and "drifting far away." This could be interpreted as a desire to escape from their current reality, to find solace in a quiet and peaceful place. However, they also express a longing for human connection, as evidenced by the lines "With you I'm someone too." It seems that the singer recognizes the importance of relationships and their ability to give us purpose.
Finally, in the last verse the singer again expresses their feelings of isolation, describing themselves as a "stranger in a foreign land" and an "orphan without a name." These metaphors further emphasize the idea that the singer feels like they don't belong anywhere. Yet, the final refrain of "With you I'm someone too" offers a glimmer of hope. It's clear that the singer recognizes the potential for connection and belonging, even if they haven't found it yet.
Overall, the song "Low" is a poignant exploration of the human experience of feeling lost and disconnected. While the lyrics focus on the darker aspects of this feeling, they also offer a message of hope and the importance of human connection.

Thank you to Neesan for sharing, absolutely beautiful, made me smile this morning, keep up the wonderful work of saving precious lives that need to be lived in this peaceful, clean, happy and well fed way :) No animal deserves to be shut in the dark and used and abused by mankind. Animals are not here for us to abuse. If we could imagine their lives in factory farms, and imagine being one of them, we would want to change things.
