Losing a loved one is always mosty painful but, when we have great memories from our life with them it is a true blessing especially when we can share some of those times with new close friends that we trust. it makes our memories and the person we remember live on as we grow in ourselves. I grew up in a small baptist church. We used to say that some people could just stand flat-footed and sang. Josh would be one of those people. He knows exactly what to do with a lovely melody. His tone and timbre are so rich and full. Bravo!

Just 6 weeks ago I lost the love of my life, my Ginny. We met nearly 40 years ago, had been married over 36 years. She died at home in my arms from complications tied to her cancer. My love for her hasn't diminished one bit...one day we two will be together again. That is my sole consolation. I love you mine, I always will.

@Dale Hercules My Mom didn't die in my arms...Dad was reading Readers Digest, & I had fallen asleep on a lounge chair the nurse brought into her room for me. Suddenly I felt Dad tap me & he said "there's no sound..I don't think she's breathing anymore". I went & got the nurse, who used her stethiscope & it was then she told me that Mom was gone. Yes, Mom managed so sneak through "an opening in the fence" while Dad & I were very quiet. Again, he was reading, & I was napping. She felt warm, as she had just passed. I went up to her, & whispered.."I love you
Mom...go & be with Gran now". I'm told that when a person dies in someone's arms, they (the dying) feel very comfortable in their last moments to let go with the someone they care about.
It makes their passing even more peaceful. Yes, you dreaded Mothers' Day just as I do., but
celebrate the wonderful parent you had. Smile...tell her you love her & you always will. Believe
me, she'll hear you.

My Mom passed 17 yrs ago come October 18. She loved this song too., & could mouth the words perfectly. She was so happy when I bought her the cd...& she played it over and over. My Mom was also my best friend, confidant., support system when I needed it., & loved me unconditionally.
I know how you feel..it's the same for me. If I could have her back even for just 10 seconds, I'd give anything to be able to see her smiling face., but I'll have to wait 'til we're united with God.

We were told death was expected three yrs ago He suffered terribly the last seven months in hospital mist of the time an then a care home. This was my late Mom's favourite song. She'd sit in her chair, & mouth the words perfectly. I don't know if she
was singing to God or to her dear Mom. As I listen to this song, it surely reminds me of my best friend...my Mom.
A day doesn't go by that I don't think of her. Yes, even after 17yrs I still get misty eyed talking about or thinking of her, but I know she's in a better place.
