The votes were so Intune with the judges saying that he had to born with his voice. Some would say that he had to be born gifted, which took little efforts, but Jessica and Philip voice were a learned behavior. They probably have been in a voice since they learned to talk. Did you hear his audition singing "jar of hearts"? They then said that he had set the bar high for the others; therefore his ovation always were proof of being born with that voice. So with "American Idol" does have rules. Josh were well above them, which they were to far in to "disqualify him."
But they should have rewarded him with the same rewards as the "first place winner!!
