A few days after my mom died, my Pandora randomly started playing (I wasn't even on my phone) the first song to play was sussudio by Phil Collins, my moms favorite artist, followed by this song. I had never heard it before this. I absolutely lost it. I got chills. I didn't have any music stations that were similar to Phil or Journey on my pandora. The next song to play was Follow you, follow me by Genesis. I will never forget it. My mom was talking to me through music.

I could only imagine being a teenager in the early 80s like my father. Listening to Steve Perry's voice. Driving on a rode trip with your girl in your topless car, letting the air brush through your long hair, enjoying that beautiful sunset, heading to the horizon. @NewRetroWave. I totally agree, Journey is king and this is one of the few songs that have a difficult time getting old in my ears. I wanted to recommend that you add a playlist of songs that are similar to the journey style (or that era in general) in a sense. The closest Retro-wave I have discovered was "The Midnight" over 6 years ago. You have a great channel but the majority is simply muddy 80s extremely over exaggerated "super busy" tracks. More of a soft Simplicity and emotion is where it is at bother, but I do realize that is missing today. Cheers

To all of you young people. Sometimes I can't relate to you guys but when I see you loving the music that brought us so much joy so long ago, the best music ever, it gives me hope. Have You ever gone to a Concert, and saw these guys, Live?? I have. 4 years ago, Dave Mason, & The Doobie Brothers were in Concert, with Journey. The Concert was in Denver, Colorado, at the Pepsi Center, and it was Freaking Awesome!! Then, 2 years ago, My Fiance & I were supposed to go see Journey & Def Leppard, at Coors Field, in Denver, but My Fiancee's Mom died, and NOW, this year, I HAD Tickets, & Really good Seats, to the Journey & the Pretenders Concert, at the Pepsi Center 2020 this Year, but that show got Cancelled, BECAUSE of the Coronavirus Pandemic!!😢😢😢 Hope you get to See JOURNEY, Live, sometime!!😊😊

One of the most beautiful songs ever. Just so "perfect." And the 80s. Just a perfect time to be alive. After that, I don't ever want to reincarnate anywhere else. It could only be lesser. But this song, Journey and Steve Perry's voice. It's just unbeatable. The world is lost now and we can only look/listen back. A near perfect time. The only problem was my crappy brothers, a few other miscreants and my own imperfections. My problems weren't enough to ruin the music and the times though.

I remember back in 1993 when i was in the Navy! We were stationed in Istanbul, Turkey. I couldn't understand a word the DJ was saying, but then he said "Journey, featuring Steve Perry". When this song came on the radio, I was sitting on the 2nd deck fantail of the ship. I thought about my family back home in Virginia, and I just lost it....the sky was cloudy with a glint of sunlight shining through. I couldn't stop thinking about my Parents and my three younger siblings. So many emotions can be invoked by great music. The producer Elson and Perry had found the perfect chorus vocal effect during this album. One that he’d use until his effective retirement in 1995.
