My passion and emotions are not being fully understood or appreciated by others.

Page soaking up tears I swear my pen's crying
My writing is so emotional and raw that it feels like my words are literally crying on the page.

Love running from me that you peace patience
Even though I desire love, it doesn't come easily and I must exercise patience and peace while waiting.

Sit here circumstances talk to me situations
I am reflecting on my life's circumstances and situations, trying to make sense of them and find understanding.

Forgive me, I can focus on ugly thoughts
Sometimes my mind is clouded with negative thoughts that I need to ask for forgiveness for and work through.

Tends to happen when I don't look to that rugged cross
My negative thoughts tend to occur when I am not focused on my faith and the sacrifice that Jesus made for me on the cross.

Or the one who's on it who gladly died for this void
Jesus willingly died on the cross to fill the emptiness and void in my life.

I'm feeling reminded in him, He satisfies all my joy, He's my joy
Through my faith in Jesus, I am reminded that he is the source of my joy and true fulfillment.

Weights of this world try to pull me down
The challenges and pressures of the world can be heavy and difficult to bear.

But I think of you and I begin to smile
When I focus on my faith and Jesus, it brings me a sense of peace and joy.

You bring me joy
Jesus is the source of my joy and happiness.

Momentary affliction preparing me for eternal glory
The struggles I face in this life are only temporary, and are preparing me for an eternal life of joy and glory.

When pain rush hit you like the wind do
When life's struggles come at you suddenly and forcefully like a gust of wind.

Think we have something angels look into
The way we handle our struggles and rely on our faith may be something even angels take note of.

A great salvation at this moment still
Despite current challenges, salvation and hope are still possible through faith in Jesus.

This great salvation has yet to be revealed
The full extent of salvation and eternal glory has yet to be revealed to us.

So consider him, who was made perfect
Reflect on Jesus, who was made perfect through his experiences and suffering.

Through suffering and know our pain has the same purpose
Just as Jesus suffered and endured, our own struggles have a purpose and can help us grow and become stronger.

Who am I to murmur? Why should I complain?
When put in perspective of Jesus' own suffering, I have no right to complain or murmur about my own struggles.

Afflictions momentary, momentary afflictions
The struggles and challenges we face in this life are short-lived compared to eternity.

Light, Don't compare to the glory we'll witness
The glory and joy we will experience in eternal life cannot be compared to any difficulty we face on earth.

When his holiness hits us and we're blown away
The overwhelming power and presence of God's holiness will take our breath away.

We behold his face and all this pain it'll be thrown away
When we see God's face in eternal life, all our struggles and pain in this life will seem insignificant and be forgotten.

Inside the pit, where the stone it was rolled away
Referring to the empty tomb where Jesus' stone was rolled away, indicating that even in the depths of despair and darkness, there is hope in Jesus.

Weighty ain't it? There's no other way to paint it
The burden of life's struggles is heavy, and there is no sugarcoating it.

This for every believer who would choose to trust
This message is for anyone who chooses to put their faith and trust in Jesus.

In him who endured the pain of the cross was truly crushed for us
Jesus endured immense pain and sacrifice on the cross for our sake, and through our faith in him, we can find joy and fulfillment.
