Rodriguez nació en Badalona y su vocación a la música le lleva a producir su primer tema en el año 98 para Le Club, sello electrónico de Vale Music. Sigue su incursión en el mundo de la música dos años después, en el 2000, con el single My Love para el sello francés Hypnotic Music con el cual empieza a ser reconocido como productor en el panorama de la música electrónica europea.

baile: Posibles himnos radiofónicos o hits de pista en clubes masivos.
HotHot Music - División soulful de la compañía SoundsFm Recordings. Temas muy musicales que engloban la más pura esencia House y que son remezclados de manera contundente para dar al maxi la versión que completa una obra para los diversos estilos que se mezclan en una noche de club.
Las labores como A&R de Juan Magan con sus sellos no dejan de ser combinadas con producciones y remixes para otras compañías en el mundo de la electrónica. Colaboraciones en solitario o con cualquiera de sus socios en sus diversos proyectos dependiendo del tipo de obra y el público a la que vaya destinada. Victor Magan, Puku, Marcos Rodríguez, David Campoy o Camilo Franco colaboran repetidamente con él para los trabajos que realiza para sellos extranjeros.
Como DJ ha viajado y pinchado como invitado en lugares tan variopintos como:
Singapur, Paris, Istanbul, Miami, San Francisco, Marsella, Stuttgart, Burdeos, Montpellier, Ibiza, Mallorca, Cannes, Strasbourg, Biarritz, Girona, Madrid, Gran Canaria,Barcelona, Geneve, Lausanne, Marruecos, Dubai, Filipinas,
Ha sido nominado en dos ocasiones por DEEJAY MAGAZINE como Mejor Canción por "Midnite Rumors" y como Mejor Remix junto a Willy Sanjuan por "Welcome 2 the Jungle".
Uno de sus mayores esfuerzos discográficos ha sido; Plazasonora con lo cual ha recibido muy positivas críticas del sector. Un proyecto que fusiona flamenquito con jazz e incluso bossa. Muy relajante. Un álbum de 10 canciones compuesto, producido, mezclado y cantado por él mismo en colaboración con Manuel Hernández, Cesar Fernandez & Pedro Peña.
Juan Magan se consolida entonces como necesario para las pistas de baile en Europa. Siendo reclamado a pinchar en las más respetadas pistas de baile del mundo reconociéndose así su buen trabajo en el campo discográfico y también en su faceta como dj.
Recientemente, ha mezclado la nueva compilación de DJ Center Records en Francia

Esta canción la oí por primera vez en los 40 principales Colombia, y salió en una época donde recién comenzaba a trabajar y a ganar mis primeros dineritos con unos 20 añitos apenas, ya se podran imaginar la cantidad de fiestas y discotecas en las que ponian este temota. Ahora ya con 30 años y con muchísimas mas responsabilidades, esa época ha pasado y solo queda recordarla con nostalgia
