Isn't it Over

Under the circumstance of why
Nobody needs to see the play
Isn't over anyway
If this is where our story ends
I know I'll lose all of our friends
But they were your friends so you'll say
Isn't it almost over
Can you feel the freedom from me
Everyday seems to be the last
Everything seems to be the past
Everything seems so hard to say
Isn't it over anyway
Isn't it over anyway
Bom bom ba ah ah
Bom bom baaaa ah
Bom bom bom bom ba ba
Bom bom ba ba
Bom bom bom bom ba ba
Bom bom ba ba
Do do do
Bom bom ba
Do do do
Bom bom ba ba
I still love you
Bom bom ba
Yeah I do
Bom bom ba
I still love you
Do do do
Do do do
Do do do
Bom bom ba...
I ah ah ...I still love you
Yeah I do
The lyrics to Jude's song Isn't it Over depict a failing relationship and the struggle of coming to terms with its inevitable end. Jude expresses confusion and a sense of hopelessness as the couple tries to salvage what is left of their relationship under difficult circumstances. The opening lines, "I don't even know why we try, Under the circumstance of why, Nobody needs to see the play," allude to the fact that both parties involved know that the relationship is doomed to fail, yet they still continue to try to make it work. The repetition of "isn't it over" throughout the song reinforces this idea of inevitability.
Jude goes on to acknowledge that the end of the relationship will result in the loss of mutual friends, but ultimately accepts that they were "your friends" and that the breakup "isn't over anyway." The use of the phrase "isn't over anyway" suggests that although the couple may break up, their love for each other will remain and continue to complicate their lives. The repetition of the phrase in the chorus cements its significance as a central theme of the song.
The last lines of the song, "I still love you, Yeah I do," reveals that although the relationship may be over, Jude's feelings for their partner have not subsided. The song finishes with an uncertain, unresolved air, leaving the listener to question whether the couple will eventually reconcile or move on.
Overall, Isn't it Over is a poignant portrayal of the complexities of romantic relationships and the emotions that arise when they come to an end. The tone of the song is somewhat melancholic, with a sense of resignation and longing evident in the lyrics.

Zero has been hurt so deeply by his childhood, which has not at this point been revealed. He, Zero that is, has so much pain buried so deep inside from being thrown to the wolves as a boy, first my his mother and then by the rotten foster parents who named him Zero to destroy his self esteem and crush him.
Zero knows that he loves Jude but it scares the living he'll out of him to let go and say it. He can't and won't be hurt and rejected again.
Telling Jude he loves him had to be the hardest thing he had ever said.
His love for Jude has been there under the surface for a long time. Zero has been making the hardest choices in his life to let Jude in. To open up is a vulnerability he has not yet begun to face.
When Jude drives away, Zero realized how empty and heart broken he is without Jude.
