Dogs dogs
Dogs

Walking down the street they look at me
I just pretend they're barking
Up the wrong tree every morning
They surround my car
I'm too afraid to walk out in my front yard

For dogs dogs
Dogs i see dogs

Dogs, they live inside of me
Dogs, they really excite me

Walking to church they stare at me
I just pretend they're barking
Up the wrong tree all the time
They surround my car
I'm too afraid to walk out in my front yard

For dogs i hear dogs
Dogs dogs

Dogs, they tell me what to feel
Dogs, they tell me when to kill

I hear dogs dogs
I hear dogs i want dogs

Dogs, they live inside of me
Dogs, they really excite me

Dogs dogs

Dogs dogs
Dogs, I hear them now

Overall Meaning

"Little Brown Dog" is a song by Judy Collins that follows the story of an individual who acquires a variety of things: a dog, a bull, a flock of sheep, and a little glass. The dog is described as an incredible creature that can not only sing and dance but has fourteen yard long legs that enable them to travel around the world in half a day. The individual then goes on to speak of a bull, who is only four inches tall but has such a powerful bellow that it can bring down the walls in London. Next are the sheep, which the individual boasts to be the best for yield and increase since they can produce both lambs and geese. Finally, the individual speaks of a green-colored glass containing all the wonders of the world that they lost and could not find.

The song is a tale about the fanciful things in life, a whimsical narrative of the fantastic things that one could own. It illustrates the imaginative mind of someone who believes in their possessions' fantastical powers and in their imagination. The tale's repeated fragment, "Sing terry O' day" and "Sing taddle day," plays into this theme of imagination, as it's a refrain that doesn't have a clear meaning but instead hints at a playful, whimsical mood.

The fact he waited for the Judge to allow him to pick the dog up shows he has respect in court.

“He does that to everybody”

Yeah, except the dog is in a small room full of people, immediately recognized that guy, and quickly ran to him and no one else. That dog clearly loves that man very deeply, not just looking for pets.

@SunniDae333

Exactly

@lancah5655

EXACTLY can they not tell body language from a dog. the second he smelt his owner he started getting all happy like cmon

@shardaesimpson2865

A dog’s excitement when they see their person definitely shows! The dog recognizes him immediately as the lady was walking by
