Faith Will Do
Julia Westlin Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Don't be afraid
When horizon has changed
Like the blood in your veins
Carry on through their waves
'Cause I know in my heart
You belong to the stars
Like a child in my arms
Raising up, and rise above
I'll raise you above

See the rivers I found
Flowing wild underground
What you see with your eyes
What you don't you feel inside
Out the winds, they may shift
On the way as we drift
But I know in my heart
We belong to the stars

Fill me with light
And fill me with love
I have walked through a lifetime
To be by your side
I can outrun the storms
I can swim to the shores
And I owe that to you

Carry on your faith will do
Your faith will do

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Julia Westlin's song Faith Will Do speak about the power of faith and the strength it can bring to us when we are faced with difficult situations. The opening lines urge the listener to not be afraid when the horizon has changed, to keep moving forward in the face of adversity. The reference to blood in our veins is a metaphor for the life force that runs through us, giving us the energy and courage to carry on through the waves of life. The chorus speaks of the belief that we belong to the stars, that we are part of something greater than ourselves and can rise above any obstacle with the strength of our faith.

In the second verse, the lyrics describe the rivers flowing wild underground, unseen by our eyes but felt within us. This imagery is a reminder that there is more to life than what we can see, and that our intuition and inner knowing can guide us through uncertainty. The winds may shift and we may drift off course, but the belief that we belong to the stars remains constant. The bridge speaks of being filled with light and love and walking through a lifetime to be by the side of someone we care about. The final lines emphasize the power of faith, suggesting that it can help us outrun storms and swim to shore, carrying us through the challenges of life.

Overall, Faith Will Do is a hopeful and uplifting song that encourages the listener to believe in themselves and the power of faith to carry them through difficult times.

if dreams made sense, they wouldn't be dreams,
If life were easy, it would not be life, it would be a dream.
So don't give up on what makes you happy,
because we don't know when it will be the last time
that we'll see the people who really care about us

Enjoy every word, every gesture,
each show of affection and reciprocate.
Because life is beautiful only when we know how to live.
And remember many will make you suffer,
it's up to you to decide who's worth fighting for ...

The beauty of life is not in the great achievements.
But in the intensity, the little moments ...

Not all angels have wings, sometimes
they only have the gift of making you smile ...

Show! ... Great Video and Beautiful Music.
Congratulations, Nice Post. Thanks!
A Great Day and a Beautiful Weekend ...

I have faith. I have bipolar 1 mixed with rapid cycling and I have been marked as unfit. I am a living testimony that although I have mental illness, I still believe and have much faith. This song touches my heart. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Love to everyone, past, present and future. My God, I walk with you. I will always have faith in you Lord God almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

@@andrejoly8135 I believe in the power of the Holy spirit, of God and of Jesus and prayer has done more for me than any amount of therapy actually. Thank you for the response.

My sister just died from a sudden heart attack at 40 years old. She left three children behind with extra needs. One has severe Autism. We are heartbroken. She was named Sarah after Sarah of the Bible who was known as mother of all nations. This song felt like it was a gift from my sister. We have a huge undertaking. She was an incredible mom. Thank you for such a beautiful song. I needed this. ❤️

Dear Anderson's I just came across Julius music and was reading some of the comments and saw the post you made about losing your sister at 40 years old and the three children that she left behind. I was wondering how your situation is turning out now and I wanted to say some prayers for you or you and your family. Father God I pray that your grace and mercy will be upon the Anderson family as they continued to struggle with the loss of their sister and the ongoing care of her three children and I ask you Lord to provide for them in all their needs! Most of all, that salvation will come for all of Sarah's children. In the Lord Jesus name, amen.
